Well, there's this one girl that I had a crush on like a year ago. We went to the same school and I liked her back then, but now I don't anymore. I've never talked to her before. Well, I found her myspace one day and asked her what's happenin' with her but she never replied back =|. I also found out her instant messaging screen name. Do you think it is weird if I message her up and tell her who I am and see if she remembers? I just want to be friends with her now.

Just say a 'Hi'. If she responds well you can carry it further. If not, forget her.Its her loss. Atleast you tried to give her a chance ;)

If she didn't reply to the MySpace message that's because she either doesn't care or is too busy. Don't push it because that is just going a little too far if you have never spoken with her in person. Her information should only be given out by her to whomever she wishes to have contact with...don't cross that line because it's a little creepy and pushy. It would be best just to forget about it because there a tons of people out there who are pretty cool and would probably be your friend too.

If back then you had made an impression that you liked her, dont contact her now coz you'll end breaking her heart since her expectations will be different from yours. She will be seeing a relationship rekindled if you see what I mean.
If you had never mentioned that you liked her, then its alright to contact her coz then you will be on the same level as two good friends.

yaa it would be strange after so long. it might appear a bit desperate too...if you want to get in touch with her back again, get hold of someone you went to school with and who is still friends with her and then get yourself introduced again... and you can say like ' yaa we were in school together ithink '.. that would be cool. else you might come across as some sort of a creep who wants who wants to get friendly any how..
