Definately. Spending a lot of time in other categories most everyone is mature and helpful. It is a group of people who show concern and try to find truth. Sure there is some scinicism, but for the most part, cordial bantor.
However, I hit this joint and it is a war between Atheists and Christians. You just wanna love everyone, not battle it out all the time.

From what Ive seen, What sets this section apart is that their are more people here. More questions, more answers, and more thumb ratings. Other places are so quiet and tame by comparison. I wouldn't be surprised if more reporting goes on here than anywhere else as well.
Lets face it. This will always be a very controversial topic. Because it is so important to people it draws many emotional reactions. It can be the most volatile but I would not call the people here hateful. Just very stubborn and opinionated.

I think it has the most hate and the most love as well as the most intriguing exchanges. I wouldn't call it hate filled just highly spirited with the occasional hater. There's been a lot of really nasty racist stuff out there elsewhere but I'm not sure if they're putting it all in one category.

"Religion" is a very sensitive and emotional topic. There will always be bigots and fanatics who cannot tolerate, let alone respect, others' views which are opposed to theirs. There are also those who are on the look out to proselytize.
