hey....two years is a LOOOOONG time to be with a bf. believe me-i just celebrated my 3 yr anniversary with mine. and i'll tell you from experience that every so often...there's an itch so to say. it happens with every relationship. what you do about that itch is a diff story for everyone. it's not a bad thing to have...most people like a little variety in their lives and perhaps this is one way you want to add something on to yours.
you're not doing anything wrong by looking up on old crush. 5 years is a long time and it's not like you're looking for another relationship or anything like that. your bf should know and trust that you love him and that looking up an old friend will not compromise your relationship with him.
in fact, YOU should know that looking this guy up wont compromise that. so why are you asking us? it's a friend. and for all you know, you'll never even actually see him. i looked up an old friend that i used to have a HUGE crush on from like 6th grade (i'm 22 now) a while ago and we talk on yahoo and myspace occasionally, but he's in oregon and i'm in utah. not much chance we'll be travelling the 800 miles just to see how eachother is. my bf actually thought it was pretty cool that i actually found the guy after no contact or anything since then.
just be honest with your bf about what's going on if he asks and tell him you love him and there's no reason to be threatened/jealous. no wrong has been done by saying hi to a guy. it's why myspace is one of the coolest things on the internet-you can look people up! lol.

Eh, I don't think it's a healthy thing for you to do, but I don't expect that it hurt anything either. It's normal to be curious. The fact that you feel bad about it is a good sign, it means that you're being aware of what you're doing and you are going to always try to do the right thing. Don't worry about it. Good night!

There's absolutely nothing wrong with talking and catching up with an old friend, if that's all you're looking for. Even if that was not all you were looking for, you're young, and it's normal to want to go back to that time and wonder if it was real or not. Just say hello if you want to, there's nothing wrong with it, as long as it doesn't get out of hand, where you have to sneak around and lie, because it can get out of hand.

It's nothing bad, you are just seeing how other people are doing, and if he has a girlfriend, you can even wish them well. And it's always great to talk about old time.

hey! you had a good relationship with this guy , but remember , it was puppylove and thats all,
we all had that at one time or the other
if your boyfriend is ok with it and all your doing is talking to this guy, what harm is being done?
:NO" your not doing nothing wrong.
we all talk to our friends from time to time.
you know who you love and I am sure your boyfriend knows you love him, so nothing lost.
some friends we never forget, for one reason or another.
take care and enjoy your llovelife with your boyfriend and don't let this bother you ok

Don't be so critical of yourself. Everyone has people in their lives that they occasionally think about. We wonder what happened to them, how their life is going, etc... There is no reason to feel guilty because you are curious.

I've definitely looked up past love interests. Haven't wanted to contact them, though. Looking is ok, calling them ain't.

It depends why you are trying to talk to this guy. "Puppy love" you say, in my opinion let sleeping dogs lay.
