Does "illegal immigration" always have to be about Mexicans (and vise versa)?

For you "anti-illeagls." I think the vast majority of ignorant people think Latinos or Mexicans are illegals. That's not the case. Half of the 12 million are and the other half come from all over the world. One more thing, you can say all you want against illegal immigrantion, you can put all you hate out there against Mexicans but one thing is for sure, that bill over there in Washington, ready to be sign, will go into affect so stop the moaning and complaining because really, it has nothing to do with you (that's if you are anti-illeagl).

I'm not saying "illegal immigration" always have to be about Mexicans (and vise versa), I'm asking why shallow people always think this, and second, 50-60% of illegals are in fact Mexican, not 80%.

I really hope it passes.It's a good bill and don't know why people are so against it.But then from many of the answers I see on here they trash it but don't know what they are talking about. It's not amnesty all illegals must have a background check must learn english pay fines all to just live and work here.Not get citizenship not get green cards just a work visa.They can't vote so the ones who claim voter base are stupid.And there's way more they need to read up on and get rid of the misconceptions they all have.I don't know why they wouldn't support it once they KNOW the FACTS.

Why does a Mexican have to be an Illegal Immigrate? There are legal immigrates from Mexico and the process only take around a year. It's this factor that people have a problem with not where you are from but why could they not wait in turn to do it legally.

I believe the main problem with Mexican illegal immigrates is there unwillingness to integrate into the culture of the host country. I can go in to most cities and find Bosnia's who speak almost perfect English but if I go into San Diego I would find areas that no-one speaks English and expects everyone else to adapt to them.

Stating that Mexicans are the only people who have the integration problem is wrong as lots of other nations do the same and each country has it's own problem. The UK's highest number of illegal immigrants are Australian but since the Aussie speaks perfect English there is a greater concern over the Asian, Middle eastern decent, that don't.

Yes and some of realize it. Dar gave some decent figures on this. I personally discuss about illegal immigrants from El Salvador, Philipines, and CHina. Dar stated that after Latinos, Indians make up the second largest ethnic group. I believe some others also discuss about Russian illegal immigrants as well. Mexicans make up the majority of illegal immigrants and thats why they are discussed the most about. Plus they are the most vocal and seen. During the May day protest on 2006 I only saw Mexicans flag being flown. THe other illegal immigrants were keeping it quiet and so we do not notice them as much.

well than if it does go into effect... you will see the sleeping giant raise up once again the people will revolt and we may use our constitution to our advatage but you wouldn't know anything about the Begining of our Constitution because you hate america. all you want is the handouts and to go home. IF you are so proud of Mexico and your country WHY don't you build it like America with your tradtions and values so that you can become wealthy in your own country. Why don't you develop an economy etc. If you are considered the hardest working people than work on your country. Establish it. Rome wasn't built in a day neither was America. There are too many ignorant Americans who think that only persons who are non-white can be pro-immigrant. When anyone states that s/he is not anti-illegal, the racist fools quickly jump to the conclusion that the person illegally came to the U.S. or that the person has a Latin American heritage.
Most persons who enter the U.S. illegally are not Mexicans, and most Mexicans who live here are American citizens.

No, not a Mexican issue even though Mexicans are the vast majority of cases. But, as you implied, Bush has no issue with illegals. That's because he is after the North American Union. It is another step towards the One World government, after the European Union.

Yes, most are not, and many came over here to go to school and just "forgot" to go back! They now really do hold a job that is taking a good job away from someone who is not here illegally!
