Personally, I find the old depiction more innocent and appealing. I feel nothing towards this guy.

No, he hasn't asked me for anything. Usually I get appeals from telemarketers.

Honestly, that looks like artists' depictions of Neanderthals. That Jesus would fit in a GEICO commercial.

I don't feel anything toward either.... especially given that the average life expectancy was about 30 years. It is claimed that Jesus was 33... he would have had gray/white hair or at least salt and pepper hair.

He looks rather sub-intelligent. What was that artist thinking? That was not painted with love, and it looks more like what Paul probably looked like, or Matthew. Maybe even one of those "Sons of Thunder". I wouldn't put it past Jesus to be tanned though.
