About being a stubborn and rebellious people. About how angry and upset He was at them. Most of the time when God talks in the Bible, He's literally talking about how bad Israel is. Am I not correct in saying this?

Yes, you are correct, but every rule has its exceptions. Some Israelites were good.

Name me one nation, one set of people on this entire planet who do not fit that description. Israel was one of them, because that was who God was concerned with. If you're attempting to make some point that God is against Israel, you are dead wrong.

The Bible says, "ALL have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God." That means everyone.

The Bible also says, "Salvation is of the Jews".

I know a Rabbi that said If the Bible was not written by God then it was written by an antisemite.

It makes you wonder why a group of people would criticize themselves so much.

Then again I like having a stiff neck. Though its hard to sleep on sometimes =P

God called the people of Israel his treasure. He took them out of Egypt to show that they were his special people. He chastises Israel to correct its ways.

Annnnnd....your point is what again? I think they've suffered plenty in the name of their religion, they have a right to be stubborn and rebellious.

I only care what Jesus had to say, since the OT was written by men, not God
