Darwin was merely the first person that suggested that life develops though natural selection.

He did not develop evolution. That was done by thousands of Biologists over the past 100 years.
Darwin did not know that all mammals on earth have three bones in their ear
He did not know that Humans share over 95% of our DNA with most primates
He did not know about the Temporal fenestra, which groups us in the same Class as Dinosaurs and other reptiles.
He had no clue about amniotic egg, which is a biological function that allows all land animals to give birth on land, instead of in water like Amphibians and fish.

I could go on, but he had nothing to do with this. This was all documented in the past century. Much of it in the past 20 years.

There really is never a need to be quarrelsome over matters like this. Christians (and most creationists are Christians) are actually commanded not to be quarrelsome. So, I will just put down what I have learned on the matter.

The fact is, by the end of his life, Darwin had rejected his own theory of how things came about it the world, because it just doesn't make sense.

Everyone has seen the chart that traces the 'evolution' of man from ape, but the fact is, the only skulls that match that chart are the apes - cro-magnon (or neanderthal) man and the human one. The others don't exists. Someone was trying to put together a puzzel without looking at the picture on the box (which is humanity as God created him). Let me explain.

There are certain parts of the human skull that don't stop growing. One of thos is the bone at the center of the forehead. There was an experiement done where the human skull was age progressed, accounting for all of the things that would keep growing. At about six-hundred years, the human skull as we know it begins to look an awful lot like Neanderthal man. Where, in all the history of the world, has there ever been a tale of men living for six hundred years? Oh, that's right, the Book of Genesis.

Well, what about the geologic column, that organizes the layers of rock into nice, neat sections and proves that the world is two million years old? The only place it exists is in your high school science text-books. It doesn't exist anywhere in nature. It's a theory- a wrong one. There have been things found in nature to absolutely disprove the geologic column. Like layers that are only supposed to be 100,000 years old existing underneath layers that are supposed to be 250,000 years old.

The Grand Canyon had to have taken thousands of years to carve out so smoothly. There's no way that could have been made in a day. Or so scientists thought until the explosion of Mt. Saint Helens created a smaller, similar canyon in a day.

And dinos and humans lived millions of years apart? Then why did they find a human hand inside the belly of a dino in the Texas panhandle a few years back?

Three percent difference between man and monkey? The human genome project has traced every woman back to a single female and every man back to a single male, and scientists are shaking their heads because the female line is so much older than male line. Of course, they haven't really considered that all women are descended of Eve and all men are descended of Noah.

The only reason anyone chooses evolutionism over creationism is because creationism actually points to the fact that man is answerable to God. Sadly, belief in evolution is a belief in the lie 'you will be like God.' Consider this: If an all knowing, all powerful God created the world, doesn't He have the right to destroy it? People believe in evolution, as an alternative to believing there is a God who created everything and has the right, and the power to destroy this planet and every thing and everyone on it. It's a scary reality to contemplate. But it is what is going to happen, the Lord has promised it, and He has never failed to keep His promise. And if these things frighten you, then you are blessed. Being in awe of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. Get to know Jesus. You won't be disappointed. He gives what this world only hints at: fulfillment.

Gentlewoman of God,

Darwin did not reject his theory during any time of his life. That is propaganda that creationists like to say to try to convert evolutionists.

As for the dinosaur with the human hand in the stomach...Scientists found a dinosaur that was not fossilized? So this dinosaur's stomach was still intact and had not decayed long ago? I think if an intact dinosaur corpse was found (especially one with a human hand in the stomach), this would have hit mainstream news. Also, I think it's interesting that you don't know exactly when this happened. You probably have a friend who has a friend whose uncle's wife's cousin's rabbi who heard from someone at a local coin operated laundry shop who mentioned said dinosaur. Or did you read this in book somewhere? Are you sure it was a book you read? Are you sure it wasn't nothing?

Because to set up the straw man, creationists try to convince others that evolution is a religion and Darwin is it's god. Thus by trashing Darwin they discredit all of evolution. I think part of this is on purpose ad part of it is just that when someone is so religious they have a hard time seeing anything as not being part of a religion.

Theists seem to have a need for reading their own preconceptions into other people. In their minds, science is a religion and Darwin was a "prophet" of it. Attack the "prophet" and they imagine they discredit the argument.

Except that's not the way science works. The ToE remains accepted by science because it is so far the only model that explains all the available evidence. The fact that it does not match with their religious literalism is just too bad.

It really has nothing to do with whether or not Darwin's theories are sound and certainly has nothing to do with whether or not evolution is a sound theory. It has to do with thinking that by attacking Darwin they are somehow attacking the prophet of evolution as if evolution is a religion. They figure that evolution must be a religion because they don't understand the theory and so it must be all about faith and since any faith that isn't theirs is bad, some of them will insult that faith.Just like insulting Buddha or the Prophet Mohammad. But, again, it really has nothing to do with their understanding of evolution as a sound theory. It is just something they don't understand.

Most of them haven't tweaked on to the fact that the work of Darwin was integrated with the work of Mendel to create the modern synthesis.

Since they seem to be forever 20 years behind with their rants, I figure that in 2020 or so they'll start ragging on Mendel too. For now they seem oblivious.

Actually, creationists dont blame Darwin, we blame his Grandfather who started a club in the Refomed Church of England he was acctually the one who came up with the idea of Natural Selection and Evolution itself

so glad you asked! The monkey men of our history are a shinning example of how science can become a communism of belief for something false supported only by blind faith that there can not be a God but only science.

Evolution was started by a LIE and will die a lie.

Our DNA is probably 100% shared with primates.

It makes no sense to me that it would be 95%. (why 95%???)

Possibly we have all been created by one source of energy?

They can't present any evidence that creation is correct and evolution is false so they attack Darwin because it's all they have.
