It depends on the day and the mood I am in

I have this great batter that if I do not stir it too much and leave out a little of the milk I have the thickest ones

but if I add a little more milk and whisk it till it is smooth they are very thin

I add some extra sugar and make crapes once they are cooked I add some fresh fruit to them and roll them up

some times I add fresh fruit to the batter or chopped veggies

if I am making them for kids I make them into turtles or rabbits and they love it

My hubby's fav is the thin batter but I just drizzle the battle all over the pan to make pan cake chips and cook them until they are crisp about the size of a dime and up to 1 inch how ever the fall

doing it this way when I have company everyone gets them the way they like them I make the thick ones first and thin down the batter and make the rest

But I would not even consider eating them without real maple syrup

THICK!!! I like it to absorb half a bottle of syrup and still dry my mouth out like a sponge! Then I really pile on the goodies!
That's the only way to get an adequate sugar high that requires a crowbar to get me off the ceiling!
Woo-hoo!
