Not A good situation to put yourself in. I've had it done to me. um Be yourself and relax maybe you'll see a reason why you don't like him and you'll have saved yourself the time of losing a friend. I mean what if you do tell him and he's a player and decides to date both of you what then...
However, If this is what you really want to do just flat out tell him you like him. I'm sure you can make an excuse like you want to go pick out a gift for her(could substitute a guy friend,brother,father's day needing guy's opinion of course) and you want him to help you then when you get him alone you could twist it into well what would you like from me if I was your girl then it would throw the idea into his head and let his brain mull from there. I will probably make someone mad here but Men are too easy...you'll figure it out if you really want to, the problem is as easily as you hook them they get distracted.

We are all confused by your question.
Anyhow...you are most likely in Junior High School and hyperfocusing on this. Hon.....there is so much more important things in life.
Get a good education.....be all you can be. Then when you are standing on your own two feet, fall in love .
At your age you have so many hormones ragging that you can't be sure of anything. So, if you arn't sure. Just forget it. Moveon. Wait for some one who won't cause you so much drama in your life.

you need to A) free up time to be with them
or B) just find a way to hint at it
