If the land really does is in fact belong to Israel and it will be returned to Israel because God said so, show us how much faith you really have. We believe so strongly in our God that we'll just let Palestine have the land and put all of our trust and faith in our Lord. Wouldn't that be the true test of faith in God?

They got the land in the first place by conquering it at God's command. What would lead them to think that they could get, keep, or receive it back by passively sitting there hoping Palestinians willingly renounce it? It would be as stupid to hope that the Temple will one day just reappear on top of the Temple Mount, bumping the mosque over the side of the hill.

Here's an alternative: "We believe so strongly in God that we will defend our right to this land regardless of political pressure, violence, or the threat of violence, because it is His inheritance to us."

The Israelis can't afford to surrender- it's already proven to be a failure. They gave up Gaza, and now the Palestinians are attacking them from it. If diplomacy or the wait-and-see approach were going to work, there'd be some sign of it now. I guess that would be where the "God helps those who help themselves" principle would come into play. If the Israelis turned tail and ran, they wouldn't really deserve their God-given inheritance, would they?

Both sides are not free of fault. The UN gave the Jews Israel even though there were other Arabs living on that land and didn't want the palce to become a literally Jewish state. But, the UN also made a plan for Palestine. The Jews are at fault here. Then the other Arab countries attacked Israel several times, in which Israel won, the land to be Palestine had been lost to Israel. Now the Arabs were at fault. Their suicide attacks and terrorism methods don't help their arguments well at all, but Israel's housing expansion incursions are halting peace talks and definitely don't help at all. The only way now is to cut a part of Israel and make a new Palestine. But with Hezbollah and other extremists sworn to Israel's destruction, that's gonna be hard to do. Both sides have to stop being aggressive towards another if any peace is to be made. With terrorist extremists on the arab side and "Israel is good, Arabs countries are terrorists without reason" on the pro-Israel side, what peace will ever come? P.S. I think US supports Israel due to the powerful Jewish lobbyists up there, and that hinders peace if we take up a full support of one side.

God said there will be a resurrection of the dead when the Messiah comes. Does that mean if someone is being harrassed that they should commit suicide and say they have faith that God will resurrect them? Jews giving up any part of Israel is suicide. The Arabs were murdering Jews in Israel before 1948 when Israel was established. Part of having faith in God is to keep His commandments and one of the commandments for a Jew is to protect Jewish lives. By giving up land in Israel, they put Jewish lives in danger. The true test of faith in God is to be willing to keep His commandments.

It is not faith to disobey God.

God gave the land to Israel and told them to re-gain it and to hold it, by faith. Many do it by force instead.

But it is sin, either way, for Israel to reliquish the land. God pronounced a curse on any Jew who willfully and rebelliously turns the land back.

The last leader who gave back the land is laying in a coma from a massive stroke.

Any more questions?

Don't think that that's the answer. Take it a step further. If Israel was handed over, where would they go? They can all immigrate to other countries or be hunted down.

What Israel needs is that they turn to God.

Genesis 17:8
"And I will give unto thee, and to thy seed after thee, the land wherein thou art a stranger, all the land of Canaan, for an everlasting possession; and I will be their God."

(and to thy seed after thee) = Abraham's other Son, Ishmael. His descendants are Muslims. No what does this say to you. All this "promised land" is a hoax. You know we Muslims believe that Bible is corrupted but even if this part of the story is true, It's also promised to the Muslims. Wake up.

They might as well face that they're not gonna get the land back. Quit whining about it and find a new country. It's just a silly patch of desert anyway, why would they even want it? I can think of a billion nicer places to live.

God gave them the land forever. It is disobedience for them to not hold onto in thru Faith in God. God states in His Word that if you bless Israel, you will be blessed, if you curse Israel, you will be cursed. America, I believe has been blessed for allying with Israel. Possibly Sharon suffered consequences for his actions in giving up land? God intends for Israel to keep the land He gave them. They have fought hard to do so. God wants us to obey His Word. There is no test of faith in giving up land God gave to Israel, it would be disobedience. God bless

You call that faith, while pretty much all Israelites would call it abject stupidity. They've fought hard to get where they are. I think even God would be p*ssed off if they were to do something as ignorant as what you propose. Nice try, but you've still made a moot point.
