Well, if its a guy then cologne, tickets to a concert, gift certificate for his favorite store, make him dinner, flowers (guys like them too!)

I don't know what a great gift would be, but this is what I gave to my bf in my first monthly-versary:

A letter with 10 things I like and don't like about him. After the celebrating dinner, I would read it to him, ask him 10 things he like and dislike about me. And based on that, we make some adjustment for a better relationship.

Coz the first few months of a relationship is about discoveries. Making a firm base will lead to a longer satisfying relationship.

Hope it helps,

Happy first monthly-versary!

One month?? Seriously...?? I agree with the first answerer. One month is not an achievement -- it's like a "One-day anniversary" gift. Not a milestone worth celebrating. Almost like saying "I'm obsessive, so avoid me like the plague".

What was the reason why you were attracted to that person? Something memorable. Something thats unexpected. You know, a homemade card. Some organized trip down the beach or something.

Something you two both enjoy.

A picnic basket with all his/her favs and a nice bottle of wine.
Then go off and have a picnic in the park or where you first met.
If there is water near by that is better.

Try something which shows that you have faith in the relationship, so something that can be used for a long period, for example a piece of jewelry that has a symbolic link to the relationship...
