...for guys to think of their girlfriend constantly worrying about them and that they have to call them or they'll go insane over worrying?
I told my bf not to call me for 10 days because my grandmother would be staying and I wanted to only spend as much time with her.
Before hanging up the phone, we teased each other about worrying our heads off about one another and when we talk again we would say...."I missed you SOOO much!" "I was counting every hour till we could speak again" "Those 10 days felt like a 10 years!" ETC.
But he said that I always worry too much about him and that he bet that I would do ALL of those things, but then I said that I wouldn't and that I'm not THAT desperate. Was that a good choice or not? Is it normal or good for him to think like that, or is it just in the guy genes? BTY, he worries about me too sometimes.
Me, personally I worry about him when hes in trouble, but wouldn't you rather want someone that worries about you, over somone who doesn't care

Worrying when there is something to worry about- like illness or extremely stressful situations- for your partner is normal. Trying to be supportive and help them get through the situation without thinking about how it affects us is compassion.
Freaking out about how many times we talk to them or how they spend their time when not with us is obsession.
In a mature relationship I think we need to trust that other person to choose their own actions in their daily lives. Be there for them, be supportive, expect support in return when it is needed and have the amount of contact that is comfortable for both of you.
Why can't he come and meet Grandma? She is obviously important to you just as he is. It might be sweet for him to meet someone that you have such high regard for and create a special memory for you both to share.

So you are basically asking if it is normal for people to worry/think about each other when in a relationship?

Absolutely! If you care about someone it is normal to think about someone. Especially if you are with each other a lot and then nothing for 10 days.

Normal to think/worry about your partner

I t sounds to me like he really does not care to much. No it's not normal,I would rather have someone that cares than does not.
