seeing that you do not allow email, i will do this publically, and you probably arn't online anymore but i am using this as a way to explain to others hwo you can be an athiest jew. connie, as you say
YOU ARE A JEW AND DON'T BELIEVE IN GOD YOU UGLY SHALLOW HORRIBLE PERSON...
well connie,
nonbeliever... yes
and i don't like to consider myself horrible or shallow or ugly
judaism is an open religion
i believe in the values and the teachings but not in god
i have no problem with that
it is how i live and i don't see why it would matter to you
and hey, i'm only 13
connie, do you realize you've insulted me without knowing me?
or are you too shallow?
i simply do not believe in god, but i live as many who do believe do. i am a person with morals, i love to learn, i find theology interesting. you can indeed be an athiest jew...
and i'm happy to be one

Additionally, I took Jew to be a statement of ethnicity, not religion. Not only is Connie shallow and insulting, she is also ignorant and cannot read.

Wow, I was confused when I read your question, knowing that I did not even answer your question. Then I saw your question's answers and noticed another Connie. Never saw this person answer on here before. Didn't think 2 people could have the same name on here. Sorry for this other Connie's rudeness. Don't take it so personally, tho or you will have a hard time on this forum. God bless

Caitlyn, I would ask you not to get upset or frustrated over such individuals. Its my experience that it is simply not worth it.

As I said before, continue to grow and learn. I would also encourage you to study your own heritage more. I wish I had the interest you have at your age. It might have saved me some hardship and effort latter in life.

Just be you, don't listen to the means ones. They will go back under the rock they crawled out from under soon enough. You are young and need to learn and explore its good to do that. Asking questions is part of learning.
Shalom!

as a jew you are gods chosen people. the apple of his eye. i would ask you, as young girl with her entire life ahead of her, to consider how very important it is for a firm and lasting belief and faith in god and his son jesus christ. read the bible and consider it. jesus was a jew. he died for your and my sins, and god loves you. the bible is your heritage. it is rich in facts and history. the world is ahead of you and having the lord god and jesus christ on your side and there for you always is to be blessed more then i can ever tell you

People who answer with hateful nonsense like that are always the ones who don't allow email.
Don't worry your head about trolls like her...
