Thanks to all who said the crap I typed was impossible or too annoying to read. Yes, it was to prove a point. As a teacher, I find this infuriating to decipher when my students put this type of writing into their essays. And no, I am not uneducated; And yes, I give them hell when they write like this.

I'm not persuaded much by the pop lexicon. I transcend character limits by learning actual words that better fit the space restrictions while still communicating what I'm trying to convey.
F*** me... when I read what I just wrote, I realize that I sound extremely pretentious.

What people want is convenience. If it's easy, one will do it. I for one try to make my vocabulary as vast and speech as eloquent as possible, however, this is definitely not the way with most.
Language is an art, a disrespected and unrecognized one. Then again, there are always those who take the easy way out. Very few care any more.

On contrar, it does mean something even if it isnt in the regular dictionary. people dont have to recognize the entire word to know how a sentence is supposed to go because there are basic structures to English sentences.
But no, it is not ok to type the way some people do in formal circumstances. I mean, if you really dont want to get hired by anyone.

It took me all of 5minutes to read what you just wrote.
And I have no idea what "Y do kds think this is NBD?" means.
I agree that everyone has gotten lazy and it doesn't really matter how it's written so long as the one's reading can understand. As long as there's nothing wrong with their speech and it doesn't spill over to everyday formal settings, I don't see the harm.
Although all in all, its just annoying.

The only part of this question that I can understand is the title. I hope that this was done to prove a point. As a person who loves the written language, I refused to try to decipher the code you used to ask your question, but then too maybe this question was not meant for me.

I'll tell you what is happening: the quality of education has spiraled to an all-time low as a result of the new generation of teachers who have been taught nothing in their areas of specialization.
Added: the problem is, the students will get used to writing like that and they will have problems writing correctly. I find it very worrisome.

I understand it. IM's are bad for kids because they don't use correct English.
