Yup. Most of us can go anywhere's from 2 to 4 WEEKS- without food (as long as we have water)-depending on how much fat we have to live off of. While I've NEVER heard of anyone going for longer than 4 or 5 days- without sleep.

you can go A LOT longer withour food than without sleep. I like to experiment. I once went without food for 15 days. The longest I have ever been able to go without sleep is just over 80 hours. Other people have successfully gone much longer than 2 weeks without food, but I got too hungry and my will broke at that point. But I was near the human limit with the sleep thing. Too much longer than that and you can have a psychotic break and do permanent damage to your mind.

It varies according to individual threshold to that condition.
No man can live without food longer than a week but some people stay awake for a period of time but they give their mind and body rest from time to time.
If you mean no rest at all, the body will pass out at no time shorter than no food at all, because your body will find a solution to its present condition. If your body wants a rest and you deprived it, your body will pass out to get what your body wants.

I have heard that that is true. I have not tested it, though -- I love my food and sleep equally.

Yeah, with water they say you can go for weeks without food. I dunno if you could go longer than 48 hours without passing out.
