Honestly? Painlessly in my sleep after years of amazing good health.
For fun?
I'd like to cheat death a ridiculous number of times, ex. Crashing in planes, almost drowning, run over by stampeding elephants, falling off cliffs, getting involved in espionage and poisoned, shot at, etc. Then I'd like to write a book, which would sell millions of copies, with a catchy title like, "The Hundred Lives of Hillary" or something. (My name isn't Hillary, but you get the idea.) Then, as I'm waltzing into my 23rd book signing wearing ridiculously tall stilletto heels, I'd like to lose my balance in them, fall backwards into a bookcase, snap my neck, and die instantly on top of a copy of my book.

I'd prefer to die laughing and while this isn't quite the humorous reply you may have hoped for, it's the truth. Laughing in my sleep would be the ultimate way to go. I've woken up laughing in my sleep often enough so it's not that so strange a request.
