Wow Gaila, I just realized that there is nothing I own that means that much to me. I really had to think about it and the best I came up with was my grandmothers bracelet.

Obviously, I'd work toward saving the people and animals in the home. After that, I'd take all my important documents (birth certificate, Social Security card, voter's registration and all that, which are all together in an envelope), my computer, my antique rosary (it's been in my family for ages and has great sentimental value), my crucifix (again, great sentimental value), any of my books and music I could quickly shove out the window to the ground below to pick up later, and then I'd be out of there. All of those things are pretty close at hand, and wouldn't take long at all to grab. The rosary and crucifix could be stuffed in my pocket while I got the other things.
