I think we all hold our own personal view on this.
Personally i find it to be a very evil book, because of all the hatred within its pages...the things christians tend to ingnore when they want to.
Have a look at this website that points out all of its hatred...
http://www.evilbible.com/
Look on the left and search through all the places it promotes hatred and violence.
I personally think that the teachings go against our one true law..."Do as ye will, But harm ye none"
I wont even have one in the house anymore!
But as i said everyone has their own views on the subject!
Blessed Be Sister!

No book is good or bad. While everything is alive because it is part of the universal spirit, inanimate objects can not harbor good or evil intent. Only higher mammals can choose to do bad things or be able to except blame for their actions. If the Pope hits a witch over the head with the bible; has the bible done violence? That's how this Pagan (Erisian) sees it. I follow my path you must find your own.

I wouldn't say bad. Just something they disagree with. There are many good things in the bible. However, there are many things I wouldn't touch with a twelve foot pole!

I think Jesus, for example, was pretty awesome.

Passages stating that witches are evil, homosexuals are evil, etc are things that I honestly believe were the opinion of the author of that particular book and go against the messages of "love thy neighbor" and "he who is without sin may cast the first stone".

Good Morning and Merry Meet Lady Morgana. As to the Bible, Wicca, Witches and pagans I will try to be short but kind.
I view "witchery" as foolish control dramas to get out of the Universe something you have not earned, love potions, protections from things you are due for a karmic butt kick for etc. The word Pagan is the Latin for a peasant. Wicca I view as a legitimate branch of faith.
As a Churched bible studying christian for me it deals with respect of this beauteous green and blue orb spaceship we call Terra/Earth/Gaie gifted to sentients for advancement of the balance ot the law of love that is the law of my personal shaman Yeshua Bar Josef.
My Lord I expect back from his state visit to the heavens around the Year 2020. Just contemplate on the fact that the Universe is a bubble w/ zero surface tension, ignore the haters and know that there are Women in every branch of faith who ladies of our ilk can call sister. Blessings!.

because Christianity(which become my delivery faith) basically did not "sense" ideal. I felt like I belonged someplace else, like I had an entire wealth of non secular life and power and no the position to positioned it. I did alot of interpreting, alot of questioning, and that i tried on many diverse thoughts. Celtic Paganism is basically my residing house. this is continually been residing house. i be counted on something because i think there is more beneficial to the international than basically molecules and monkeys. inspite of the actual shown actuality that they actually have their position contained in the grand scheme of issues.

No, it's just the writ of another religion...The only time I really have a problem with the bible is when they try to use it to tell me I am wrong in following my own religious path.

I think you would consider any book bad that advocated killing of people like you.

Exodus: 22:18 Thou shalt not suffer a witch to live.
