You may have reached a point in your addiction to Yahoo answers where you realize you have pissed away WAY too much time. You perhaps are thinking about all the lost moments, all the possible friendships at missed parties and maybe even a chance to find true love. You probebly never though it would turn out this way... You said "just one time, I'll try it and thats it" Well that was 2000 answers ago wasn't it? You have finally hit bottom. See, it's not so bad.

Hello my Dear, I am a retired old bloke and live on a little farm in country Australia.
It has always been a mystery to me how people can be bored. There are so many interesting things to keep you interested. You know, God gave each and every one of us a talent and you will have one too. There must be something that you like to do or something you would like to know more about. Search your heart, you must have had some happy and contented moments in your life. Go to the library and get a book on motivation, to be bored is such a waste of a life. Find a boyfriend, fall in love, take a calculated risk, I am not telling you to be foolish but a sensible risk can be a source of excitement.
Try stop thinking about yourself and see if you can help someone else with a difficulty. Help an old lady with her shopping perhaps, join a club of some sort, go to dancing lessons, try gardening, get a musical instrument, get a pet, go to a gym and get fit. Healthy body, healthy mind. Get a good book on psychology and study why other people suffer from boredom and how they solved it. I think you are only young and have a whole life ahead of you and, if you make the right decisions, your life will be full of joy. There is an old saying my dear - "Ultimately we are responsible for ourselves" it is what you do that will determine your future life - happy or otherwise.
I hope this helps,
Grandpa

Well I'm bored enough to fart around online, but not bored enough to conquer Laundry Mountain.

Go sleep. it's by far the fastest, most cost effective and energy efficient way to waste away time that you would otherwise spend in the slow and agonizing torture of boredom. and you get a free trip to dreamland as a bonus! that's fast, cost effective, energy efficient AND exciting!!

I have a list of chores that can make you "unbored" really quickly....
Waits 10 seconds....

.....
.....
....
Yup, my kids, also suddenly become far less bored, when I offer the chore list to alleviate their boredom...
My magical bored relieving chore list works wonders, I should market it and make millions :)

I don't know what to tell you. I'm obviously not very good at entertaining myself tonight either. Ooh, I know, we could go outside and torch ants with a flashlight and magnifying glass.
