Ah, bien!

However, I try to stay away from imagining a perfect person. That leads to perfect people. Then a perfect race.

Then genocide.

As far as Eve, pretending for a stretch that she was not fictional, in my mind she wasn't perfect (there's no such thing) but she was awesome because of her "hunger" for knowledge and her not taking no guff from no one, not even god.

The first rebel.

We are waiting for the Perfect to come. But if a living person today were to walk in the Spirit, they would possess many gifts of the Spirit, the greatest of which is love, but one of which is discernment of good and evil. They would be wise and not likely fooled by anyone. They would however probably deliver the truth in love rather than slamming the offender. Innocence of sin, like a baby, not perfection was the nature of God's first children.

I think perfection is an awkward descriptor for Adam & Eve. Perfect for what? The Bible says God was pleased with all of creation calling it "good." I don't know that perfection makes sense unless Adam & Eve are perfectly suited for what God has designated for them.

the definition of 'perfect' is relative, my idea of perfection may (or most probably will) differ from yours.

With that in mind, Adam and Eve in all their symbollic glory were as 'Perfect' as God allowed/created them to be...

which may not be our definition but a different 'objective absolute' kind've definition to which we may or may not agree with...

As far as being more susceptible to deception? Well, it depends, (on so many things) but mostly, how cunning a deceptor?

No, cause they'd be smart.

No, Eve wasn't perfect, but she had a talking snake. Many of the things the snake told her, she kept from Adam.

When they were exiled from the Garden, the snake came with them; and they lived happily ever after, cause they went to a place nearby that was very similar.

A perfect person in the biblical sense of the word is one who is sinless. An animal is sinless because it takes the ability to be self aware to commit sins. Is an animal perfect? Animals are stupid and are deceived often by humans. But by definition, they apparently are perfect. In my opinion, perfect is an idealistic word with no real meaning.

Note that the Bible says they were naked and they were not ashamed. That is because they were clothed with the Glory of God.But when they sinned they were no longer clothed with His Glory. After they sinned they knew that they were naked and tried to cloth themselves with fig leaves.Today those who have excepted Jesus as their Savior are once again clothed with this same Glory. They may be naked but covered by His marvelous Grace. And yes because we are of the flesh we are susceptible to deception, however the Lord looks at our intentions and what we were trying to do rather than what we failed to do.

Eve certainly wasn't perfect, she was just genetically the best we had. Everyone else has gone downhill from there.

There is no one perfect but God. Enjoy your day and try to remember that hate hurts you more than it hurts the object of your hatred.

I think the point the writers of that one were trying to make is that perfection in a mundane or humanistic sense is impossible and only God is perfect. Oh, and that women are the downfall of mankind, that seems to pop out some.

I don't think that question is answerable. Define the perfect person. My version of perfect probably won't fit yours or anyone else's . . . .

Nice avatar, btw. She's evil! She's hot! She's a prostitute . . . no wait . . . . a companion . . . . no wait . . . . she's Valla's daughter?!
