Hitler sent roughly 6 million people to a horrible death, and was the culprit of millions more ...
But the Christian God sends (and will send) BILLIONS of non-believers to a fate worse than simply ending their existence... they will be burned for infinity for their finite sin
Of course, the Christian God is omnipotent and omniscient. He could have simply chosen not to create the people that he knew would not believe in him. Instead, he chose to provide little or no evidence for his existence, thereby ensuring that most people would not believe (he knew that would happen too).
Is this kind of God worthy of worship? I wouldn't say "Yes"

Kronos: There is a vast difference between God and Hitler.
It goes without say, here, about the dastardly deeds Hitler & company did - but Hitler is dead now and God is alive.
Yes; christianity does have a lot to say about "unconditional love", as God is love. The problem is, God doesn't send anyone to an ever-burning "hell" - that is plainly a non-plausible doctrine since there is no "hell" in the bible. Hell is a mistranslation within both, the Old & New Testaments of the Bible. "Hell" is respectively, translated, rendered more correctly as, "Sheol" (Old Testament) & "hades" (New Testament) they can be translated as "hole" or a "grave" - not fire ! In the Book of Revelation, Chapter 20, verse 14 (King James Version), you have "hell" being cast into the Lake of Fire ! If "hell" is the Lake of Fire, - doesn't this add up to a hugh counterdiction ? Yes; there is a lot of very bad theology out there, which creates a lot of confusion and fear among both, christians and non-believers - alike !!! Remember; God is in the SAVING business - not the torture for eternity line of work.

How can God send anyone to hell when He hasn't judged anyone yet? Judgement Day isn't until AFTER the end of the world. There is only one that is definitely banned to hell when all of this is through and that is the wicked one, the devil, satan. Everyone else is with Him ("To be absent from the flesh is to be present with the Lord"). And since God is a very loving and forgiving creator, you still have a shot up until your own end, though its not really a good idea to repent with your last breath. You need to read the bible. Gods love and forgiveness is infinite. And there is only one "unforgiveable" sin and we cant even commit that until the end times, as well. Hon, if you don't want to believe in God, you don't have to. He gave you free will. Its just that "us Christians" know how much egg on your face your going to have when you find out that you were wrong. We only want to help - but a REAL Christian will leave you alone about it if you ask them to. Hey...if you want to be wrong, its your free will. God gave that to you and we have no right to try and take it from you. God Bless you.

Good question, and i believe that in the end all that matters is what kind of person you were, if you believed in god, but were a bad person, then you probably would go to hell, even if you prayed, and went to church everyday, on the other hand if you lived a good life, and god really played no part in it, then it means your a good person not out of fear of hell, but just because you are a good person, so you’ll probably go to heaven, but then again only if god is real, but in the end does it really matter, live a good life, help other in need etc, and weather god does or does not exist isn’t really all that important.

The clarification seems that God gets to decide and kill human beings, with the aid of fact he's the righteous decide. That of course calls into question the place God gets his authority from. If he's the arbiter of morality, then morality turns into basically that...arbitrary and inexplicable. If he isn't the arbiter of morality, then he gets his morality from someplace else, basically like Hitler, and so he could be while in comparison with Hitler.

Like totally.
God destroys the wicked justly.
I do not know where God will send you, only God knows.
I don't want for anyone to go to hell.
Christianity teaches unconditional love from God and to be this way with each other but mankind fails miserably at that.
I don't know that he sends that many people to hell. It is not my place to say where someone else will end up.
It is not for someone else to say where I will end up, I do know this though, my God is not a weapon to be wielded by any man, as if a man could wield my God as a weapon.

The ones that have the option and have heard about Christ yet reject it then they are the ones that go to hell. Jesus said it is better to have never heard than to have heard and rejected. So in retrospect i believe that if a person has never heard about God or Jesus and lives a moral life, then that person will receive Grace from God or the proper judgment so to speak.
p.s. God told us that He has unconditional grace.... there is a difference. He'll be there to forgive you, and all you have to do is ask. Is there a more simpilar way to get salvation and yet you still reject. Hitler didn't give the Jews a choice.... there is a difference

The difference between Hitler and God is that GOD created Hitler and all those who Hitler sent to their deaths.
God has the right to do as He wished with HIS creations...Hitler had NO right to kill God's creations.
The difference between Hitler and God is GOD is God... and Hitler ISN'T God... and therefore Hitler had no "right" to kill off all those he killed off.
NO, Christianity does NOT teach us UNconditional love.
Yes, God loved mankind, HIS creations, enough to make a plan that would be available to rescue the lost...but there ARE conditions that are to be met before one is saved.
God does not send ANYONE to hell. They send themself.
God set the "ground rules" and WE choose to obey those "rules" or not.
If we choose to obey His "rules" the consequences is eternal salvation.
If we choose DISobedience then we choose the consequences of eternal damnation and at our judgement God gives us our choice according to the choice we made in our life.
Athiest have, until they draw their last earthly breath, to be in obedience to Him....
but if they choose to continue in their DISobedience then THEY choose eternal damnation...not God.

Why would God accept an athiest into Heaven? Why would God accept someone into His kingdom who rejected Him and did not even believe He exists?
God's unconditional love, grace, and mercy do overpower His wrath, fury, and anger. God is a righetous Lord, and His wrath is a righteous wrath. For every sin committed there is a price to be paid. Sins are crimes committed against God and against yourself.
This world is so focused on God's love, grace, and mercy that they do not look at His wrath, anger, and fury.
Jesus spoke of judgment day that is coming like a buring eternal furance. Read what David spoke of the Lord and that the Lord's nostrils are blowing smoke out, making it out to be flames of fire, because of His burning anger, and out of His mouth comes a double edged sword waiting to strike and kill.
Peopel send themselves to Hell, they make that choice whether to accept or reject God. You can't expectt to be allowed into Heaven when you have openly rejected God. Hell is eternal separation from God and that is why people are there today. They have made that decision to be separate from God for eternity and yes even if they were a good person and done good deeds, sorry but that alone just does not cut it.
God wants to save you from judgment, but if you have closed yourself off to Him then He has accepted that as your choice, hence you are now condemned. God's perfect will and desire is that no one should perish, but thousands of people a day are in entering outer darkness.

may i ask you.... where do you think hitler should have been sent? he was the most evil of evils.
God does`nt send any good person to anywhere that is anywhere near where i hope hitler is.
The only thing i can explain to you about justice of God is,
He is fair in His judgments, or would you disagree that evil people should never be judged?
God does`nt demand you to believe in Him he only tries to let you know that to choose not to would not be the best choice.
What is God suppose to do take back free will?
I would like to ask you where did you as an atheist get or learn your moral, loving, compassionate standards?
What code of conduct do you aspire to?
I ask this because i learned them from Christ`teachings.
Are we just born and learn these from people?
Where did they learn them?
Sorry,bout all the q`s.
The Indians even taught of spiritual things before the white man got here.
I would like to express to you about all the good that God has done for human kind and maybe it may change all the bad you might see in our world.
I wish you peace and Love.
I came on this site recent it is interesting.
Maybe we should not blame God....hugh?

First of all to compare God to hitler is ridicules. God has not, nor will He send anybody to hell. If you go to hell it is by your choice not His. Hitler was a dictator. he never gave anyone a choice, But because God loves you he gives you a choice. Why is that so hard to understand?
