Because psychics are full of crap and are only in business to make gullible people hand over their money or tune in to their TV shows. Hundreds of psychics have tried their hand (mind?) at finding missing persons; none have succeeded. Many of them simply scan newspaper articles for information, others just make up junk. The only thing they succeed in doing is giving false hope to the victims' families, who are already distraught and vulnerable. Policemen waste valuable time hunting down false clues--usually at the insistence of desperate families--when they could be tracking down real clues based on valid research. Every moment spent on wild goose chases is another moment when the victim could be killed; but psychics do not care as long as they get money, publicity, or both. If Chris Angel could help find Osama, he could also help find hundreds of other missing people and bring closure to their grieving families. Why do you think he doesn't do it? It is because he is a charlatan, and a cunning one, at that--his failure to produce results could mean a loss of income.
