I reached a state of consciousness that I was simply amazed at but I don't know what it is called and I reached it in the morning just before getting up to go to work. It is very hard to discribe. While in it I felt empty but expanded, I did not think of anything *thoughts in word form* nor nothing to my senses. But I felt awake during it, very awake or at least that was my impression after it was over. I felt as though I was in an tingling/ orgasmic state, except it was a plateau not any sort of climax. When I woke up I felt this rush of energy, very similar to the feeling I felt in that state except now it was like a shower going through my spinal cord througout my body. Any one know what that state of consciousness is. I would stay there forever if possible, I wish I did stay there.

It rarely happens.
It is a state where there is no thoughts, full awarness.
It is a higher spiritual state.
In this state, one become blissful, ecstasic.
Everyone knowingly or unknowingly wants to attain this stage, even if he doesnot accept religion or god.
U where in the same stage in ur mother's womb.
This is the stage where u go back to ur home.
In India this is called Satori.
After a long practice of spiritual or meditation, one may get it.
Donot lose this stage.
I dont know what way u got it, Whatever the method u are following, continue it.
U cant bring this stage, It will come to you if u are ready.
Try to empty your mind whenever possible.
Dont long for it, If u long for it, you will lose it.
Only blessed one get this stage.
I am meditating for the past 15 years, yet I got few times only.
Whenever I sit to meditate expect it to happen,
It never happened.
But when I sit without any purpose, even I forgot that I was meditating, It happened.
According to Hinduism, If one stays in the same stage for 24 hrs continuously, Then He realise the ultimate or god or Divinity or Truth whatever it is called.

Lucky you! You have just had a taste of the many wonders that await you in the higher worlds. Simply put, you have touched the garment of God, and I can assure you that not many people have this experience. What you bring back from such experiences is more love and understanding of yourself than you had before. It is an experience highly sought after by every 'spiritual' person.
If I were you, I would not bother to give the state a name but would do everything to learn more about it so that I can have more of it.
