i was talking to the girl i love saturday night (shes 25 and a christian girl) and we talked for about an hour and a half at a coffee shop

anyway, we were talking and she told me she has no real deep convictions. i raised my eyebrow atthis and was surprised. i was sirprised bc it was one of the reason why i had a feeling. i think a woman that is commited to wha she believes in is a turn on.

No... it's not weird. Some people just don't really care all that much about religion. They are perfectly content with just saying they believe in whatever religion they were raised with and not giving it any more thought.

it's common to find such some just join the club out of peer pressure or good advertising and have no convictions to speak of at all . if it feels good or comforts you can begin to understand some of the notions of some of the believers and why R Dawkins calls it mentally bankrupt . it takes all kinds to make a world and the mindless are the least of my worries as they are harmless and perhaps kinder than any religious or non religious with ambitions.

Most people don't think much about religion. I can't imagine a life without asking the big questions, but I find that a lot of people are very shallow spiritually. They care more about going out for drinks than contemplating the universe. It took a long time for me to understand that I am in the minority.
