Warm canned food to just over room temperature. Dogs with stuffy/runny noses can't smell. They won't eat what they can't smell. Warm food gives off more smell than cold.
Pet stores carry Nutrical and other nutrition pastes. Sometimes dogs will take that if nothing else.

Number 1: Call the Vet back, if your dog refuses to eat, the problem could be more serious than a cold. Do what the vet says. If vet says to wait until scheduled visit and gives no instructions, proceed to Number 2.
Number 2: Try "wet" or canned dog food.
If all else fails: you can try about a teaspoon of beef consume or broth mixed in the food. NO MORE THAN THAT. If you give your dog too much broth or grease, it could get diarhea, which would just make things awful....

You don't need to wait for the next visit. There is a product you can get from your vet. I don't know the name of but it comes in a tube. It is very flavorable for your pet. It is flavored with beef. It is very rich in protein and all the good stuff that helps your pet become more active. You will see results within a couple of days.

I would call to let the Vet know that your dog is not getting better. But, getting worse. The Vet may want to see your dog right away.

I wouldn't worry about a short-term dip in appetite, especially since the colds meds can exacerbate that. Just make sure he gets plenty of water. Also, if you don't think he's breathing well, get him right to the vet. Pneumonia can set in pretty fast.

Call the vet and ask, they will answer or return your call since you had him there before. The medication may not agree with your dog, the vet might want to change it also. Don't wait a week for your pup may not make it . Good luck.

you should try giving him plain white rice with boiled chicken breast. I have a dog and when she was sick, with the colds, cough and vomiting that is what my vet suggested and it worked. I hope this helps.

You should REALLY check to see if you're feeding him any of the tainted pet food they have been talking about in the news which can cause those symptoms and death.
