Yes and it was not fun even if I did walk away.

My friend and I were attacked by several guys a local Redneck bar near where we live it was some 4-1 odds and inside a bar enclosed space.

Needless to say there was not talking our way out of it our pacifying them and the bouncers were of course no where in sight and they attacked us because we beat them in a team game of pool and they were upset and all were just lookinf for a fight. really childing actually.

Well i did the least of the two of us but still held my four off with ease till the bouncers came and ended it. My friend on the other hand laid waiste to them. That was where we differed. I felt only necessary to prevent them from hurting me until the proper people got here to deal with it, I could have stuck back harder as my friend did who put one into the hospital but not overnight thankfully and he hurt two bouncers not knowing it was them.

I remember being grabbed from behind into a choke hold and slipping my hand between his arms and my neck at the same time pushing back hard using his body as leverage to use both feet to kick his friend in front of me, landing and letting them land on one another. I fought defensively where my friend fought aggresively.

It is not something I suggest or recommend to anyone, YOU NEVER know who has a weapon, who will be hurt, how bad and who will be blamed. It is just not worth it I think. Even when you win as we did, you still lose.

My girlfriend and I were at a bar. We were seated right by the entrance. A group of people forced there way in past security. A tussle broke out; I got pulled into it somehow. There must have been at least 10 people fighting. Mostly I just parried and blocked. I was mostly worried about my girl. I kept her right on my back. Then one of the dudes pulled a gun out. It was not pointed at me. Security piled on the guy. I used the moment of confusion to grab my friends arm and we bolted out the front door.

Yes. Just the basic punching and wrestling really, no weapons, improvised or otherwise. Usually the manager or the owner would ask you to leave afterwards. But my particular fight went outside and god knows where else. All I remember is I woke up in the park the next morning with a hangover and a black eye.

Hmm...

I worked security at a few bars, I wouldn't necessarily call it getting into a bar fight. I mainly managed people who needed to leave, or broke up fights.

Despite Fenris's type of tale, and others most of the ones I witnessed or were involved in, rarely got too bad. I imagine part of that was because of a good job on our part, eliminating trouble makers quickly, and breaking up situation before they got bad.

However, there were plenty of times after hours in the parking lot we would just let two dudes fight it out.

I have been involved in a lot of big brawls, but brains, and being sober, along with training helped out a lot.

The important thing about a bar fight is to get the two offending parties out quickly, and as quietly as possible. Violence begets violence, and when something goes down the whole atmosphere in a place changes. So our goal was to not cause a big scene, which would have more people get in on it.

The problem with bar fights and bad security is that more people start to join in and it becomes a big dangerous brawl.

2 people fighting, especially outside. Well that is just good old fashioned entertainment, and most of the time not much is going to happen outside a broken nose, black eyes or a bloody lip. Most people in bar fights aren't trained fighters, and are drunk. Thereby negating their ability to do much damage.

I have been in tons of them, lucky enough to not get shot or stabbed, and felt a good portion of not getting injured was due to the fact of having good people around me, and having enough of us to handle a situation. I worked at a particularly rough bar and there were pretty much 8 bouncers at a time there. 2 per room, with two floaters, two guys in the parking lot, and 2 guys on the door. Any given moment 6 of us could be in a room or deal with a situation.

Most of the time 2 of us did, so that others could stay and maintain the "status quo" without getting everyone all amped up and excited.

Bar fights are usually just drunk dumbas*ses, usually 80 percent of the time they can be avoiding by talking to the person, or recognizing the problem before it happens, and cutting someone off before they get too wasted. Most of it is because of posturing, some dude wants to prove he is bad.

My tip: avoid getting drunk in bars. Save getting wasted for around friends. Have a good time at bars, get buzzed, but maintain your head.

Not me but the cop I went out on a date with had to get me out of the place he took me too for the other cops got into it with some "others". Very scary experience for I had never been in such a place where EVERYONE was throwing punches and "stuff" at each other!

We had no idea what started it.....he apologized but needless to say I did not go out with that guy again....I thought what a safer place to be then with a bunch of cops....wrong!

Well, there was not much technique involved, just a lot of beer bottles flying and some chairs as well, I used my favorite self defense technique(the hundred meter dash) and escaped being dragged into jail by the responding cops.

Yes, I bounced a table off of the bouncers head (how ironic) and then did a tap dance on his face until the other bouncer hit me from behind.....the police arrived and i sat in a mexican jail for three days waiting for someone to come get me.

No way. If it starts to look like it's going there, I get the heck out and tell the bouncer about it on my way.

Too many people can be carrying knife or gun, not to mention that you will still probably be hurting afterward.

i replaced into in even even though it replaced into years in the past. Like decrease back whilst i replaced into in the highschool. No i did no longer start up the combat so the bar did no longer ban me yet her. She replaced into mad simply by fact her boyfriend replaced into chatting with me and provided to purchase me a drink so she got here up and punched me as difficult as she might desire to in my abdomen. I went over yet I got here up swinging. i've got taken karate so I did be able to get her on the floor and pin her.
