I answered a question, with the truth, and it was deemed, inappropriate, and yahoo answers removed my answer and docked me 8 points? I just don't understand why? I see so many stupid and nasty questions on yahoo answers, yet there they is!

There's no logic to anything that involves Yahoo!
A few months back, I answered a question and was awarded best answer. As I normally do, I used the comment box to thank the asker and wished him a wonderful day.
A few days later, my answer was deleted and I was docked 10 points for chatting. I was also given a violation (and docked another 10 points) for my comment left-after the question was resolved! For that, they said I was point gaming. I never have figured that one out.

Your choice of words may have been a little too much for certain audiences. Remember, Yahoo has to respect all people.

I know. I got docked for one of my honest answers, too. It just goes with being on Y/A.
