I am looking for a resource website that has some laws regarding the Michigan one-way-street driving laws. I am particularly interested in the laws regarding turning while on one-way-streets, or turning onto a one-way-street.

Thanks in advance, I really appreciate it!

There are several laws regarding the turning onto a one-way street in Michigan which are not well understood. Check the Michigan Secretary of State website, and go to driving information. I attached a link for the booklet, "What Every Driver Must Know". This booklet contains the basic rules for driving in Michigan, and includes the specific rules for turning onto or from a one-way street.

This is the same book I give to new drivers in driver education classes for them to review before we start driving with them on the streets. It explains the rules and has some diagrams.

You always turn into the closest lane. You turn left from the left lane and right from the right lane. But ALWAYS into the closest lane. One way or two way, it really doesn't matter, the rules are the same. This isn't unique to MI, it's nationwide. It's also pretty much world wide as well.
