A good pre-shave oil can work wonders - it also seems to reduce the amount of bleeding (nicks) by allowing you to shave with fewer strokes (a fresh razor blades also helps).

A good three-step process is to cleanse (soap, face scrub, etc.), pre-shave oil, and then shave cream/gel.

Ok for starters i wouldnt be shaving that part of your body your proble getting the lumps because they are ingrown hairs i would suggest that you should go to a beauty therapist and get it waxed of .. Also to by a good exfoliant to help stop thse ingrown hairs .. PLEASE NO MORE SHAVING .. I know that waxing is a lil more painful but in thelong run its much better as it lasts longer and looks better ( sometime the hair will stop growning there as well if you wax it ) Anyway i hope i have helped you and go see a beauty therapist k thats what they do :) Good luck hairdresser gurl .
