Don't act desperate. You will scare him off.
Why not just walk over, say "hi", and start a normal conversation? Just act friendly, and mildly interested. It works with most guys.

if you're desperate, that's a bad sign. u need to figure out who you are and what you like and don't like first. develop yourself, and men will be much more attracted 2 u becuz you'll be naturally confident. women cannot hide natural confidence, & men LOVE that. Men can also pick up NEEDY immediately....ewwww....who wants that?!? don't just limit yourself and glob onto some guy who u probably wont even see in a month. use the summer months to take a class, try something new for yourself...u wont regret it!!

i was desperate once and when your desperate and want someone, sometimes it doesnt succeed very well.
my first relationship, was never good.
no spark what so ever. and its a waste of time when u want someone.
and i would like to thank god, that im so surprised im not desperate for someone right now.
but thats if you havent had a BF.
if you had,
well its all about patience.
good things come for those who wait.

If your desperate you are on your way to finding the wrong guy and will end up getting hurt.
What about learning how to make yourself happy and let life happen naturally

Go to events and keep yourself busy. Invite friends to events. I think a man is attracted to a woman that is independent and one that does not sit around waiting for the phone to ring.
