My argument point

He is omniscience, He could able to know
- what Adam and Eve were going to do
- howmuch Adam and Eve love/obey him
- Satan's movement

He is Benevolent so
- He would not have created Tree of Knowledge to protect his beloved creation
- If Garden is almost like heaven then why not He just created Adam and Eve in the Heven
- He should had destroy Satan as He has asked human to kill nonbeliever.

He is Omnipotent so He would had created
- human in PERFECT without Bug ( not like Microsoft's creation )
- Known all the knowledge.

He didn't have intension to bring His creation to the Heaven.

God put the tree of knowledge of good and evil in the Garden of Eden to give Adam and Eve a choice – to obey Him or disobey Him. Adam and Eve were free to do anything they wanted, except eat from the tree of knowledge of good and evil..If God had not given Adam and Eve the choice, they would have essentially been robots, simply doing what they were programmed to do. God created Adam and Eve to be “free” beings, able to make decisions, able to choose between good and evil. In order for Adam and Eve to truly be “free” – they had to have a choice.

He gave us free will. we're beings, and beings have free will, so He can't deny us opportunities within our jurisdtcition. Satan has free will also

it would have been a great sin for Him to deny us our potential
because humans, matter in general were made for the physical. He set us on the earth to rule it. it's our domain (or atleast society is). it's impossible to destroy abeing. God is a being. when He made us like Him, He made us everlasting, and evelasting things come to no end

perfection is impossible to create. the mere fact that we are less than Him because we are creations and the creator is greater than His creations is a flaw in us. life has no point if you never learn anything

Yeah. The world's not perfect.
If you believe in a God, then you can choose to believe that He put you here to make you miserable......or you can think of it as 70 years of "roughing it" in order to learn something valuable.

If you don't believe in a God, at least show fundies the same kind of tolerance and respect you want from them.
Both religious fanatics and evangelical atheists need to realize that the question of God's existence or nonexistence will always be beyond the realm of science, simply due to the definition of the word "God".

Love is a choice so you can't be forced to love someone. Adam and Eve were perfect before they sinned. They perverted themselves. God didn't pervert them. I think Adam should've killed Satan but he didn't. As for who God should or shouldn't destroy, it is not my place to make that decision. Satan will go to hell for all of eternity in the end. God didn't send Satan a redeemer like He did for us.

Of course it all makes sense once you realize that it's all fake. It never happened. The stories don't stand up past 19th century scrutiny because they are just myths. Nothing more. God does not exist. Never did.

You can poke logic holes in Greek mythology the same way.

I think that is isn't a literal based story. Possibly a metaphor referring to something else entirely. Maybe to illistrate that man had the choice to do what he wished. I don't think the real answer is available at this point in time.

He is God and he has a plan even if none of us truly understand it! Put your faith in Jesus and ask that question when you get to heaven!
