You get all mad at christians for talking about God and our faith and the bible in general like its the worse thing ever.
We talk about these things because its the only way we have to get our veiws and beliefs out there so hopefuly people accept it. (If they don tthen o well we tried)

Ok so here my question. How do you get your beliefs out for people to hear with out telling your beliefs and opinions?

Yeow: My sister and her husband are atheist so I hear every day people trying to cause me to lose my faith. Yet when I stand up to them its a whole differnt thing then. They help prove that atheists are just bullies.

Well, here's the tricky part for a lot of Christians(I assume you want to be able to express your views on morality, without them being refuted as being based on Christianity?)... A lot of Christians view morality as being inspired by God. So, any point about good or evil eventually boils down to God, and you're left being ridiculed by my kind.(I'd do it too). We Atheists on the other hand, having refuted the idea of God, must now explain morality. We then end up learning philosophy, various viewpoints on why something is good, or not. And how to tell the difference. We can express those views easily, without stating any religious belief system whatsoever. Many great philosophers were Christian, so no viewpoint can be assumed.

Beyond that, I'm not sure how to answer.. you've asked how to express your beliefs, without telling anyone your beliefs... your question inherently contradicts itself. Sorry if I wasn't of the most help.

Your question is both rhetorical and a paradox. Most Atheists do not in fact preach their beliefs because most people know that Atheists do not believe in any deities. Not only are you trying to back Atheists into a corner (and not succeeding, mind you) but you're trying to generalize them into one big Christian-hating group. Shame on you.

I don't even know why I'm answering this question. Judging by your screen name I'd say you're just intolerant of other people's beliefs.

While I see nothing of merit in the Christian message, it's sometimes good to have the Christian preachers be so loud--it lets me mark them as not worth listening to.

You aren't going to convert people over the internet (not without some major philosophical breakthrough on the theist side of things, and I'm not betting on that), so Christians mostly make themselves look silly with their preaching.

On the other hand, when we attack religion, maybe that's partly because we hope some of it sinks in and someday causes a few of you to lose faith.

Steve-Your claim that you cannot say there is no god without knowing absolutely everything EVER is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in the room is now dumber for having read it. I award you no points, and may God (hah!) have mercy on your soul.

Being American, I consider I do think the have got to label myself. The crisis is I do not quite recognize what label that could be. I bet I might be an Atheist as I don't consider in "God" and the bible. I see that as simply a fairytale with existence classes, similar to Grimm's' fairy-stories if you're going to. But I do consider in specific, good plenty of, Pagan ideals. And I am very clinical in my pondering as good. I consider matters could be greater with out the labels however all people desires to categorize all people so might be there might be an "undetermined" phase for men and women like me.

When was the last time you hear an atheist come up to you asking "Do you NOT believe in god?"

-----

So, did your sister and your brother-in-law come up to you asking "Do you NOT believe in god?" or did you go up to them and tried to convert them without success then classified them as bullies?

Most Christians became crybabies when they tried to convert me. Most of the time I will end up telling them which verses they should be looking at in the bible.

Anyway, atheists have opinion, and all atheists do not have a belief in some imaginative master. That is all that is common. The rest are up to individuals.

When one say atheists takes as much faith as a christians to say god does not exist, they do not know atheists. Atheist have lack of beliefs of the existence of god, but that does not mean atheists says god does not exist, Anti-theists says that.

This dork does not get mad when Christians talk about God and your faith or the Bible, and I do not think doing so is the worst thing ever. Indeed I welcome you talking about these things. I really enjoy questions about the Bible, because it is a subject I think I know a little about.

Why does everyone in the world have to hear about your religion? Thats something thats so personal and private that it should be like sex. Its either a joke or you just don't talk about it.

We don't get mad at you for talking about your religion IF WE ASK YOU ABOUT IT. If you're bugging the crap out of people about your religion just because you want to, then don't expect everyone else to sit back and take it.

No one cares that Christians don't like homosexuality. No one cares that Christians don't like abortion. If you don't like them, then don't do it. You have no right to try to push your religion on others.

Under normal circumstances, I don't, My beliefs or lack of them is my personal business. I don't feel that I have to talk about what I believe to aggrandize myself or to try and bring people around to my way of thinking. I'll leave that nonsense to the Jesus freaks

Have you noticed that most answers save a few are just insults and never come close to answering? Atheists are like that. Scared to back up their claims.
