any suggestions for cheap exfoliants i can make at home w.out having to make a trip to the store

i knew a girl once who used sugar.she went to the shower with a bowl of sugar and rubbed her face wit it.you know she took a handful got it wet and rubbed.

I used to pay $25+ for body scrubs at Bath & Body Works. Now I make it with white sugar and olive oil. You put as much sugar as you want in a bowl and pour the oil over it until it covers the sugar. Then take a shower and scrub. The sugar dissolves and doesn't burn like salt does and the olive oil is perfect for moistrizing.

yes, after you wash your face get about 1 tsp of a creamy cleanser add either 1/2 tsp of regular sugar or even 1/2 tsp of brown sugar, it is grainy enough to to the job.

You can even add some to your hand lotion to make a nice exfolliant for your hands.

Instant oatmeal and milk is a great exfoliant.

Scrub with it, then wash it off and finish with witch hazel.
