Please help. My 10 wk old kitten was kicked by a neighbor boy. I ran out and grabbed the kitty and told the boy's mother what happened. I am taking him to the vet tomorrow, but I am worried about him. His left eye was bleeding, his nose was bleeding and he has just been laying around. He is eating and drinking but I am worried. Any thoughts on what may be wrong? Thank you!

Well I think the most obvious thing that's wrong is that your kitten was KICKED!

Yea the poor thing got kicked in the head. That kid is no good You should have taken the kitten to the vet when you saw bleeding instead of waiting a day. As long as its eating and drinking thats good. Gently wash the nose and eye with room temp water. Consider getting to the vet asap and not waiting for an appointment. Thats the truth. It would be normal for the kitten to just lay around after such an attack.

First if he';s bleeding through his nose and teh eye their is a chance that there is head injury. i wouldn't wait until tomorow.
I would talk to the mother of the child that kicked the kitten if this was done on purpose they should at least pay half of the bill. This may get very ecxpensive depending on the full case you may consider taking the parents to court to pay bills.
Again I would take him to the vets immediately also do not feed or water if any surgery is needed there is more of a chance of a problem when putting under may get sick and die on choke on the vomit.
Let teh vet know the last you know of the kitten eating as this may be very important.
again TAKE TO EMERGENCY VET NOW

If the kid did this on purpose call the mom and tell her you are taking the kitty to an emergency clinic to get checked out and that she will be covering all of the veterinary expenses resulting from this incident. Tell mom that you are also considering pressing formal charges for animal cruelty. If it were me I would go ahead and press charges so that if this ever happens again the authorities will see that there is a history of this very disturbing behavior. The kitty may need x-rays to make sure there are no fractures and the doctor will be able to assess whether he needs further treatment or at least pain medication to make him comfortable.

It doesn't sound good. Just keep a close watch on your kitten until you can get it to a vet, the sooner the better. Depending how hard this brat kicked him, it could have a concussion or worse. I hope you do not let him (neighbor brat) play with your child in the future, he may kick him or her next, and I would present the vet bill to his mother.
I hope your kitten is OK, good luck at the vet!

First, the kitty had really been knocked if his nose and eye was bleeding.I'm so sorry. The boy may have broken the kitty's nose and at 10 weeks old the kitty has a 25% chance to be in danger.
And I've no idea why might the kitty's eye was bleeding but, just to help, think of when boxers' eyes bleed when they get punched there a lot of times, they just go on and they' react just fine. And if it's eating and drinking, it should be just fine with minor injuries.TIP:try to keep your kitty inside the house, and if you want it to go outside keep it strongly supervised.
I hope that Kitty is gonna be fine.

He should be at the Emergency Vet now. Kittens/Cats should not be outside...these are the things that happen. My roommate had a cat she let outside and the cat was beaten to death by some kids. I hope you ask for payment from the parents for the vet bill. Any child that kicks a cat has serious problems too!

That's probably a good sign that the kitten is still eating and drinking at this point - but you should definitely take the kitten in to the vet to have its injuries assessed ASAP. Only they could tell you if any bones were broken, or if there were any internal injuries. I would also ask the offending boy's parents to cover any involved vet bills, and let them know that pyschopaths often started abusing animals as children - they might want to have their kid assessed by a therapist. Let us know how the kitten does!

He's a rotten kid that has the potential to torture animals later on. Press charges, get this on his record.

You should have took the kitten to the vet immediately.

get to the vet NOW why did you wait? he could have brain damage already! If it was your kid who was bleeding would you have waited? Pets are dependent on YOU for their care, they are also your children.
You had better keep your child away from this obvious candidate for anger management and future serial killer. Children are products of their environment, is thier an abuse problem here? Stay away. Did the kid apologize? Did the parent punish? Major deeper issues here.
