I have not tried the new Summer brew but I am partial to the Berry Weiss...Good company w/ plenty of variety for all tastes. The best thing to do is go to a larger liquor store that sells the bottles in singles; then you can try multiples from the same company before you buy a case. Happy Drinking!

It's a Wisconsin beer that has been around since the 1860's I believe.

I had something this year that may have been Summer Shandy. What I had was something like lemonade mixed with beer. If that was Summer Shandy, I enjoyed it. I usually dont buy that brand except when I am in Wisc. visiting my sister in the summer. The brand is ok with me except I usually get Miller Lite.

i miss leinenkugel's so much. i used to live in milwaukee and now live in cleveland where you can never get it in bars and it's expensive at liquor stores.

skeptical of shandy- i love leinies red and honeyweiss but not such a fan of sweet beers, which that probably is.

oh, leinies.

fun fact- one of my college professors dated the heir to leinenkugel before the miller buyout and dumped her b/c he didn't think she was going anywhere intellectually (didn't know the scope of leinie's)....says he regrets that now. ha!

I have never tasted the stuff but have some old bar beer glasses that have that name on them. I didnt think they still made it - Says "Made with Chippewa Water from the Big Eddy Springs"

Heard of the beer, it's from Minnesota. Very good and I knew that they dabbled into micros but haven't really tried many.
