I am getting two kittens who are close in age buy 2-3 weeks difference. I wanted both female but I ended up choosing male and female. This is from the Humane Society and I have to wait until they get spayed/neutered. So the woman tells me that the male cat will not spray and the pee won't smell so bad because they get neutered so young their testorene is very low. Is this for sure? I won't have problems with smelly pee and a boy cat spraying? She said no but I want a second opinion.

There is no 100% guarantee, but it would be extremely rare for a male cat do spray after being neutered at a young age. If the cat goes outside, at all, that may slightly increase his chances of spraying since he may become more likely to mark his home base.

Yes, the lady is telling you the truth now.. that doesn't mean they will not do it but if by any chance it happens you can go to the animal area on Walmart or any other store and they sell a Pee remover kit which inclides a Black Light and a liquid that you spray in the area you find with the black light and you will not have the bad odor.

Thats true if you get the male cat fixed he will not spray. I have four male cats and none of them pee cause I got them fixed so early. My family has always had male cats and never have had a problem with them peeing anywhere besides the litterbox.

I've always had female cats, since there is guarantee that they will stop spraying, and I hate that smell.

in most cases this is true but as in anything there is always one that will be different. You will probalbly not have any problems.
This is something that does need to be done.
Good luck with your new babies.
