In some states you can become married after living with someone for so many years, so if you want to remain single, move out every now and then. Some people feel too confined and can't deal with the legality of marriage. Marriage can be difficult too if you are a true free spirit. On the otherhand, if you only live with him, it is easier for him to sneak out of the relationship. There are NO guarantees in this life either way!

If u live with them for a certain amount of years (depending on the state u live in) u become commonlaw married. basically if u have kids by him and u split up u can get all the same legal rights as a woman married to a man in a church or whatever.

There is absolutely no legal prtection as far as rights of inheritance, property, etc. when he dies or leaves you. He just gets the milk without paying for the cow. Don't be
stupid.
