I experienced God directly when I was seventeen.
"I" ceased to exist for a period of several hours (based on evidence that came to light later), and experienced everything, everywhere, everywhen, simultaneously.
No message, no mission, but the effects were profound and humbling. I have no book, no group. I just live my life happily and share what I experienced and know with my wife and daughter and few close friends where it would help them.
I'd describe more, but this isn't the place.

Several, but specifically, being a mom. Knowing the unconditional love that I have for my daughter helps me to understand more about why I believe what I believe, and how hard it must have been for God to let His son suffer and die without interfering so that the rest of the world could be saved. I can't stand the thought of anyone ever being mean or harming my baby.

I can think of several. One of the strongest ones is what I lived with a Muslim ex boyfriend. I was a feminist free spirit before meeting him. After being with him for almost a year, I recovered contact with my femenine energy and became a lady.

I have survived more illnesses than I can count and I have flat lined twice. This has made me a more peaceful person because I realize that life is short and can be taken from you at a moment's notice.
