I talk to my boyfriend everyday for about 30 min, and we talk for several hours on the weekends. But he keeps mentioning how much we talk... I am wondering if he thinks that is too much. Should I not try to talk to him for a couple days and see if he just wants a little space?

I guess if he thinks it is too much talking, then it is too much talking.

My wife and I had a long distance relationship through our dating and engagement. We talked weeknights for about an hour each night, then spent the weekends with each other. It worked out for us.

in any relationship, the two of you set the rules nobody else, it's ok to listen to other's opinion, but that's just how far it goes, every soul is different and when these two souls collide it adds up even more difference to the equation, I have been in long distance relationships (it didn't work out, but hey doesn't mean won't work for you). and at that time it was expensive to talk on the phone and Internet connection was crappy, so we wished actually we could talk more often but I think it all revolves around whether any of you see this as something serious.. LDR only work as a temporary remedy
and should be limited as much as you guys can, and having in mind that you guys plan to be together anytime soon

all the best.
