Buy a new outfit one size too small and hang it where you can see it often. Put signs or pictures on junk food reminding you of your goal. You can put a realistically skinny picture, but don't make it a Barbie doll or something ridiculous. As for the signs write "hands off" or your ideal weight. If someone else is dieting, form a support group with them. As a group go to the movies, out for a walk, or just for a day of fun that doesn't involve eating. Good luck!

Okay I had this same very problem, but you have to suck it up and get going. I used to be 254, and now, 200 pure muscle. And trust me it wasn't easy, my family loves junk food and don't really eat right, so you will have to do it for yourself. Just try the alternatives, eat more fruits and veggies, and if you like the junk food eat them in moderation. Stay away from the fried and eat lean foods that were boiled, baked or grilled. And do the exercise indoors, just go into your room turn on some music and do some jumping jacks or jog in place, get more into going outside and jog around the block. if anything get a friend and to run with you, and if you like playing sports do it more often at least four times a week. Your motivation should be yourself, if you want to look good, and feel good get up and go. Don't let anything hold you back, I mean your stronger then the foods you eat, because you make the choice on eating that stuff! Goodluck and train hard!

Think about that guy/girl you want to be noticed by. Or, if you're already in a relationship, be motivated by wanting to make them happy.
I always try to think of my religion; I know God wouldn't care if I am 100 or 300 lbs, but I always try to trick myself into thinking that eating junk food is a sin.
I also motivate myself by my hobbies: I'm an actress, and I will have a better chance scoring the lead in my next play if I stay slim. Also, it is harder to post while riding horses when I weigh more!

Try to think of things exclusive to you; many of these may not apply to you, but then again, yours may not apply to anyone else. Sit down (or stand up) and write down a list of motivational things in your life. These were just some ideas. For the next few days, keep the list in your pocket or nearby. You'd be surprised at how many you'll think of.

Good luck and don't get discouraged!

Buy weights and a jumprope lift dumbells and do pushups and situps everynight . Also listen to music that gets you pumped and if the music really gets you pump 1 step foward and think about why you are trying to get fit for a girl for yourself and other stuff like tha it helps me. If you do it every night low weights but repititions. your muscles will be toned and in shaped. if you do it every night for 30-60 mins fo two weeks you will see results promise
