Ok. so i had my son about 10 weeks ago. I am breastfeeding and supplementing with formula (but i did breastfeed for a solid 7 weeks) Anyways, within the first week of having my son, the 55 lbs i gained during pregnancy were gone, i mean, literally vanished into the air, i wasnt on any kind of diet or anything...but now i have a problem with the belly and my legs. My arms are toning up really good, i think due to the lifting of my son, and his carseat, and all that goes with having a baby...but how can i tone my belly and my legs without adding the bulk???

thanks

Get a bicycle and ride it for half an hour a day.

Give yourself a year or so to get back into shape.

Good luck to you and your new little one!

Do you have a baby post-natal clinic where you live? I knew them as 'Mothercraft' Nurses and they had exercises for you to do to supplement the natural action of breast feeding.
Breast feeding causes our uterus to contract and in turn this affects our tummy muscles.
In the meantime try these, when lifting your son contract your tum muscles, stand tall and stretch your arms as far as possible pulling tum muscles in. Lay on your back with bent kness push pelvic region up, supporting your back contract every muscle you can hold for 10 counts lower and repeat. Go for walks with bub in pram/stroller, pull tum in for 10 steps release for 10 steps and repeat this as you go along. 15 minutes out turn around and come back to start should equal 30 min a day. Good for you and good for bub too.
Congratulations.
You will find exercise books dealing with post natal exercises, Yoga, Pilates etc.

Take that little bundle of joy out in the stroller for as long as you can everyday. All that walking will help in no time with your legs and belly!
