I see nothing good in my future.

1. I've got 1 year left of High School. After that, I'm working. I don't want to go to College.

2. My brother (the only person that takes me places and does things with me) is moving out of the house to live with this lady.

3. My other brother moved out of the house 10 years ago and is now married. Spends no time with me. He live 2 hours away from where I live.

4. My sister lives in her College dorm. She visits on the weekends. We're not close.

5. Me and my father aren't close neither. He's 61 and he's about to retire from working. After that, there's nobody in the family that works.
I have a cat named Meatball. He's the only friend I've got. There's nobody at school and there's no girlfriend. He's a old cat.
I'm getting a job this summer at this store by my home. I'll just be fixing the shelves and collecting baskets. I'll be the only person that's working in the family.
What is there to look forward to in my life?

Getting to save up money to buy new stuff! Meet new people at work. You've got a whole other year of highschool to do stuff. Make new friends girlfriends do lots of afterschool activities.
I would suggest going to college over all. If money is a problem try community college. People always tell me some of the best times of their lives was during college.
It may look like nothing is good in your future. Thats because your looking for standout good things like inheriting a million bucks once you turn 18. The reality is, your future is what you make of it. What I see down your road is Oportunity.
Famous people have came from much less and most from not much more.

Also try picking up hobbies and projects. Collecting something or building something.
Remember friends are essensial building blocks of a healthy furture.

Look forward to the day when you can move out and start running your own place. As your siblings get older and have kids you can be the "cool uncle" everyone loves to hang out with. You could look forward to the day when you have your own place and enough money to get a little kitten friend for Meatball.

And since you do plan to start working after high school, you can look forward to making friends at wherever you end up working. Even if it doesn't feel like that will happen, there'll be people you'll get to know just by being around them all day.

Or, hey, if you're creative, you could start writing stuff or painting. If you write you can post on FictionPress (it's kind of hard to get reviews, but it's a big ego-booster when you do) and if you do pictures you could post on Deviant Art.

Think of it this way, you are completely free, no ties what so ever, you could go any where you wanted, you could join the peace corp or the military and see the world. You could save up and buy a motorcycle and circle the earth. You will never be as free as you are now, Even if you went to college far away, think of all those hotties at school, just waiting to be "bad" now that they are out of the house. I'd love to be as free as you. There is always something new around the corner if you look for it.

Mortgages and rush hour traffic are no fun at all, enjoy your freedom as much as possible.

When you have that type of outlook on life, then the answer is NOTHING. What's wrong with your future is your attitude about it. Yes life get's us down, yes life isn't fair, but we don't have to spend our entire life bitching and moaning about it. If you want something to happen in your life then you have to make it happen, it's not going to come to you. Think of this as an adventure. If you're graduating from High School then you're old enough to get a drivers license. Don't rely on someone else to chauffer you around get your license, that gives you more freedom. Save up for a nice used car with the money you earn working. Try to get two jobs. Take classes at a local community college. Most decent jobs require a college degree, you should look into college, your siblings went and trust me it's the best time of your life.

Go out and meet people, now that your dad is retiring he'll have time to do things with you, plan a weekend to go fishing or do something together, get to know your dad, he won't be around one day and you'll wish you spent more time with him.

Quit bitching about how crappy your life is and go out and make something of yourself. It's easy to sit on your duff and wait for life to come to you, go out and make a life for yourself, don't settle.

So you're at a lull in life. Why don't you have friends? Obviously you have more issues then you are telling us....instead of being behind your computer screen get out there and join some groups, play some sports meet friends. You said you'll be working this summer, you can't make friends then. Your siblings have lives too...quit feeling for yourself and do something about it.

You're just beginning to start living!! Hey, at least you do have a job, lots of people don't. You never know who you'll meet when you're working regardless of what you're doing. You'll be out in the public & you're bound to meet someone you can make friends with. Be friendly w/the folks you work with. You still have a yr. left in school & you never know who you'll meet in the coming yr. Be glad you'll be getting out of the house all summer & not just sitting & bumming around. Now that you'll be working you'll be making money. Think of something you'd really like to have & work twds. the goal of being able to save for it & be able to buy it. It w/mean a lot to you knowing you earned it yourself. Set some goals & aim for them. If your Dad's going to retire soon, he's going to have a lot of time on his hands & after awhile it does get boring. (I KNOW!) You never know but that might just make things change in his life & you'll find he just might turn to you for things to do w/him. Give it a chance, you're just beginning your life. Think positive, get rid of that negativity! Life is honestly what we make it. Maybe this yr. you'll find a girlfriend! Be thankful for what you have. Maybe at the end of the summer you could go visit your brother. Hey, you always have Meatball...:)

Can I ask why you depend or expect everyone else to be responsible for what goes on in your life???YOU make your own way--you make your own decisions, YOU are in charge of your life---get a better job, join some clubs--meet some people. Pets do pass on--that is life--get another one to enjoy for another 10 years. Global warming??? Maybe it will light a fire under your butt--get going and stop the drama sad boy routine--it is pathetic.

Hi let me help :0 I am a recently retired teacher and I love young people. You could go online , search Myers Briggs Personality test and I think it costs $5, but you have to remember each of us has different gifts and passions and all that and this marvelous test results has such deep resources and even tons of books on personality type. amazon.com search for personality type would also bring up a ton of them. I think you might find your good points that no one else has noticed and learn to "entertain" yourself in the things you are gifted at. We are all gifted at singing or running or fishing or reading or ????????????????/ art ???

of mentality...all I have to say to you ..in order so that you try
to see it in a better way your future..is keep moving...keep moving ...I mean in jobs(since you mention college is of no interest to you...then work at one place...save money ...keep saving ..and take trips around places, states
that you like...or would like to visit...it will open up your view
of the world...and little by little you'll feel better about yourself and about life...and as you keep moving on life...you'll see that you have met many people and of course opens the possibility for also meeting many new friends. just follow this advise and you'll see the outcome...unbelievable!!!!
