I'll start by saying that I'm sure you mother really does love you back. I have a son, and I can't even think of anything he could do that would be bad enough that I would ever stop loving him.
As for how to appologize, I agree with her that a sorry card isn't good enough if you keep repeating the behavior. The best way to get her to believe that you are truly sorry is to not give her attitude any more. The next time you are angry with her or disagree with her, try telling her in a mature manner. Try this: "Mom, I know that you are the adult, so I will do as you have asked, but I want you to know that I don't like this, and here is why...". Just make sure that you have a reason why that sounds ligitimate, not "because my friend's mother doesn't do that".

Try behaving for her for a change. I bet she's a hardworking woman and you're an ungrateful child. She still loves you, but she's had enough with you and your attitude. Turn your attitude around and she will not have to be mad at you.

She still loves you. She is just hurt that you gave her an attitude.Moms have feelings too, you know. You need you not only tell her you love her, but SHOW her you love her by not giving her attitudes. Your mom will always love you no matter what. She is your mom :)

Apologize, and mean it. Look her in the eyes and say that you are really sorry, and that you'll try to be better... then do it. Give her a kiss and a hug, and mean it. And, next time you find yourself wanting to flip attitude at her -- don't.

You did apologize.. but the problem is the attitude she is mad about, is the attitude she already talked to you about..right?? She is probably upset she has to repeat herself time after time.. if you change your attitude, you will really make her day.

Break it down into steps:
1. "I am sorry that I did . . . "
2. "I know it made you upset."
3. "I promise that I will be more considerate and will not do it again."
