Yes a few of them are:

Revelation 12:9: So down the great dragon was hurled, the original serpent, the one called Devil and Satan, who is misleading the entire inhabited earth; he was hurled down to the earth, and his angels were hurled down with him.
(it shows that he misleads humans and misled angels-that is why it says his angels)

2 Corinthians 11:3: But I am afraid that somehow, as the serpent seduced Eve by its cunning, YOUR minds might be corrupted away from the sincerity and the chastity that are due the Christ
(remember the serpent in the Garden of Eden was Satan the Devil...he seduced Eve....he is seductive)

2 Corinthians 11:14: And no wonder, for Satan himself keeps transforming himself into an angel of light.
(he is deceiving...misleading again...he makes himself look good...while underneath he is a wicked spirit being deceiving people and turning them from the true God, Jehovah...and true worship)

2 Corinthians 4:4: among whom the god of this system of things has blinded the minds of the unbelievers, that the illumination of the glorious good news about the Christ, who is the image of God, might not shine through.
(he is the god of this system of things...not the Amighty God...but because most people follow him...in effect worship him knowingly or unknowingly...he is a god of the world...the people....today)

1 John 5:19: We know we originate with God, but the whole world is lying in the [power of the] wicked one
(the Devil is wicked...evil)

These are just a few scriptures that describe some of the Devil's qualities...check it out in your own Bible...also check out the few links below...they are a few articles on the Devil...all Bible based...so read along with your Bible...or you can use the online Bible that is also on that website...

I hope i was able to help you some...and if you have any more questions...contact me...

Not anymore, they were all removed because they "were too controversial and did not reflect Christian views" which basically means that the written descriptions that were removed cast Satan in a different light, not the "evil serpent monster" that people think of him as. some removed books describe Satan and the demons. try the Books of Enoch and the Gospel of Judas. The Apocrypha. Also, go to some Satanists websites, they usually give good descriptions.

Note: he retained his heavenly beauty, so those pictures of a big red guy with a pitchfork is BS, he actually looks much like us humans...only extremely beautiful.

Joy of Satan ministries has a good section on him(just type that into a search engine)

Go to biblegateway.com and search to following:
King of Tyre, Satan, Lucifer, Annointed Cherub that covereth, Old Man, Devil, False Prophet, Tempter, and so on. After you search a few you'll come up with some others I don't have time for.

The Qu'ran has a whole chapter on Al-Jinn that is very detailed. I know you asked about the Bible, but if you are interested in a description the Qu'ran has it.

That would be hard, since references to characters Christians like to lump together as "the devil" tend to be either impressionistic (like the dragon in Revelation) or subject to interpretation. For instance, the snake in Genesis was probably not intended to be a devil figure, but that idea came later.

The Satan character in the Book of Job was probably just a less sinister accuser demon. Ancient Jewish mythology had all sorts of funny stuff like that.
