Teenagers!! Cant live with 'em, cant kill 'em! :)

I'm a Teacher dear, and I am sorry that your 13 year old baby is on here posing as a 26 year old! Thats bananas.
Anyway, the only thing I know is to tell you to call Yahoo, tell them exactly what you told us, and ask them to delete her account, and to put some kind of block on her email adress so she cant come to Yahoo Questions anymore.

The only problem is that your daughter could always easily use another Yahoo email adress, and she'll be at it agian. So, maybe you should try to purchase some type of Parental Control software where you could always monitor her online. Let her know that if you find her on here, she will NOT be getting anything from you, and she will NOT be allowed to surf the net for 3 months--and take away all her little trinkets like videogames, Ipods, cell phones, and everything until she stops.

Afterall, you dont want some stinky 50 year old man showing up at your home while you're at work, because dear, I'm here to tell you that Yes, some old men on here DO try to pick up these young 13 year old teenage girls sometimes--and I always report them when I see that. Good Luck.

Ok so coming from a family that was very against premarital sex and told me never to do it and didn't want to put me on the pill for any reason beause they felt as you do that it is like saying it is ok to have sex I have a little advise for you. My parents, like I said, refused to put me on the pill or to even allow me to take sex ed and guess what happened. I had sex anyway. Behind their back. Guess what else. I got pregnant when I was 16. And, had a miscarriage (on my mothers birthday and I had not told her I was pregnant yet) which took me many many years to move past and I will never get over it completely. She is going to have sex whether you tell her it is ok or not. If she has had sex already she will have sex again. Do what so many parents won't and put her on birth control and tell her to use protection if she is going to do it but also let her know that you don't agree with it and you would hope she would make wise chooses. Last thing you want is for her to come home and tell you she is pregnant or that she has an STD or worse for her to go through something like what I went through that she will have to carry with her the rest of her life.

You have to get into her profile page when she is signed into Yahoo Answers. The police can't shut down the web site just because you don't want your daughter on it. She is the one on here impersonating an adult.

First of all, this isn't the place to threatened people and tell people that you are going to bring the police here because of that.

Second of all, this isn't the place to talk to the people that work on yahoo.com

Third of all, you are so not handling this in an adult manner.

Fourth of all, you can't tell the police to do anything.

Fifth of all, you can't shut down the site because your nobody. To do it and you don't have evidence at all. And the police can't do anything.

Sixth of all, this isn't the place to get mad.

It's good you're concerned about your daughter, but how come she was even able to get on Yahoo without your permission or supervision? You don't need to threaten and "yell" at people on Yahoo. Nobody knows your daughter and whatever she has posted on the site was done because she isn't supervised.

i hope you are successful,,,,I am stunned sometimes by what is posted on here,,,this is a GOOD site, it is the creeps and bigots and out and out trash that make it so difficult,,,,,I would not allow my child on here at all,,,,,,take the advice of the good people on here who do care, who don't like the trash that is posted, and who are trying to sincerely help you remove your child from where she does indeed not belong and fix things so that she cannot do it again,,,,,supervise her computer use at all times,,,,,,,who knows WHAT else she has gotten into,,,,,,,And I think that yahoo should contact people via telephone or regular mail to confirm identy or something somehow,,,,I have seen posts from 12 year olds,,,,,,reading some of this crap,,,,and people wonder how come the kids are out of control and sexually active,,,,,,they are bombarded with it at every turn,,,,,,,Good luck,,,I hope you are successful and that MORE parents get their kids off here,,,,,and kids,,,,,,you do not belong on this site,,,,,,,not at 12, not at 13,,,,,,,,,,,

Get a keystroke detection software , allows you to record her pass word, then change it. But she'll probably open a new account.

Best is to "unplug" internet access :) My kids are not allowed on the net unsupervised. I turn DSL off

There's a link in the middle of this page that says Account Deletion. You will have to know her password to cancel, I think. I hope this helps.

Well, try contacting yahoo. I am sure they will be glad to remove your daughter's user name. But...I doubt you would be able to shut down this site because of her..
