This question seems to hint of the "we don't have to pay taxes" argument...as laid out in the 16th Amendment of the U.S. Constitution.

For an honest and factual rebuttal of each argument against "denying" Federal Taxation Liability...this is a treasure trove of a link!!!!!

Wow, three times in one 24 hour period. Maybe we can go for a record!

Title 26 of the US Code is the LAW that governs the Federal Income Tax in the US. Here's a link to it: http://www.law.cornell.edu/uscode/26/usc_sup_01_26.html You can find plenty more on it on the net. Just Google "Title 26" and you'll get thousands of hits. I just did and got 982,000 hits. See for yourself! http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&rls=com.microsoft%3Aen-US&q=%22title+26%22

This question has been answered here a large number of times, pretty much every day.

Listen to the tax protestor's song if you want to that there isn't any such law, it's voluntary. etc etc etc. Many of them end up in jail. Is that what you want to do?
