I have a paperclip. This would be great way to spread the faith. Magic and all that.

Don't feel singled out. I plan on putting every mythological belief system to this same test.

Could all of the Christians, Jews, and Muslims in the world move a paperclip one inch with a prayer?

Christianity and Pagan religions do share one thing in common:
...They are all based in nothing but imagined causes and effects.

Have I changed your mind?
[...I didn't think so.]

Spells for us are like prayers for other religions, we just do things differently. Could all the Christians in the world move this paperclip one inch?

Im sure that all of the wiccans in the world could move it more than one inch...infact, take that 1 and add 40-50 0's behined it, and that's about how far they can move it.

Mythological faith? I hope that includes Christianity, Islam, and Judaism too, because they're just as mythological as wicca.

Let's say they could. Would they want to waste their powers on something as mundande as a paperclip moving? Just to "prove a point"? And even if they did, people would assume there was some kind of physical trickery involved (I know I would, at least). So really, what's the point?

At least an inch or *exactly* an inch?

It certainly wouldn't take "ALL the Wiccans in the world," lol. YOU can do that. So can I.

Hang it on a string.

Stare intently.

Now concentrate on making it swing the OTHER direction.

Spooky, huh? You can thank my high school psychology teacher for that one.

Geeeee, sorry. Guess you'll be needing a new dumb question to troll with. ;-)

Why would Wiccans need a spell to move a paper clip when it is much easier just to pick it up and move themselves.
Wiccans use spells for things like healing, they don't waste their time on things like that.
Besides, not all Wiccans have telekinetic powers, which is what it would take to move the clip anywhere.

Um... what exactly does the ability to move paperclips have to do with developing emotional tools for coping with life, or with one's personal growth and inner peace?

But to answer your question, I can. The spell component would be a magnet.

I would think that a more important query would be this:

How many wars and/or deaths have been committed in the name of your faith?
