You're right. "Trabajando" is only a verbal form (it's equivalent to the "ing" in English). The difference, in Spanish, lays on the auxiliar verb "estar" (to be) that comes with it, which you conjugate accordingly to the person who is being referred. So you can say: Estoy trabajando (I'm working) Estás trabajando (you're working) Está trabajando (he or she is working), etc. Now, "le" or "lo" added at the end of the word is a suffix that shows who or what are you talking about. For instance, in your examples: if you say "hablarle" the suffix means you intend or want to speak to someone (a third person, that's a he or a she), therefore "hablarle" means "talk to him" or "her". If, on the other hand, you say "hablarlo" (the suffix "lo" refers to something, not to someone), what you mean is that you intend to speak about some matter. In English it would be "talk about it". I hope it's clear now.

-ar verbs: remove "-ar" and add "ando" : hablando, trabajando

-er and -ir verbs: remove the ending and at "-iendo": comiendo, bebiendo, viviendo.

Of course, there are a few irregularities... right?

ER & IR verbs- add -iendo to the stem
AR verbs- add - ando to the stem

ejemplo- Viviendo-living, Hablando-speaking or Trabajando- working.

es muy facil..

"ing"="ando"

Working=trabajando
walkind=caminando
swimming=nadando
listening=escuchando

But not all the action verbs finish like that, you have for example
eating=comiendo
bulding=contruyendo
going=hiendo

Here's a verb: El idiota que le encanta poner mal "rating" y que cree que sabe español sigue atacando (attacking) a los que sí sabemos.

Depending on the verb, it is "ando" or endo. "I am working" is "Estoy trabajando", "I am reading" is "Estoy leyendo", etc.

hope this helps!
