All you need to do is mention the name of Jesus and they will flee. He that is in you is greater than he that is in the world. At the name of Jesus demons tremble.

Never read one single verse in the Bible where the Apostles and Disciples, used a cross in their spiritual warfare with Satan and his minions. There's was the name of Jesus!

The cross has no meaning with the exception, that it was the alter of which the Lamb of God was sacrificed on! In accordance to Old Testament Law. The alter of the Old Testament was a "Brazzen" alter. Which, in the original Hebrew means "lifed up" alter. The cross of Jesus was also a lifted up alter. As Jesus said; If I be "lifted up" I will draw all men to me. Or where he spoke concerning Moses. Here he says; As Moses"lifted up" the serpent in the wilderness, so shall the Son of Man be "lifted up."

Out side of this, there is no power in the cross it self. When we look and speak of the cross of Jesus, we are looking at who it was on the cross and what it was that took place on the cross.

However, with Satan having transformed himself into a angel of light... He uses things to have people believe it of a divine nature.

Yes, it works against 'evil spirits', Bigfoot, Chupacabras, witches both with heads and without, aliens, alien spirits, alien demons, Quetzalcoatl, zombies and werewolves.

It is not, contrary to popular belief, effective against, Islamic terrorists, Atheists or Vampires, because they don't believe in your god.

That only works for vampires and Martha Stewart.

Note: This answer is meant ironically. I don't really believe in ghosts *or* Martha Stewart.

think again...the cross is anoccult symbol...Do you think Jesus condones it? The cross is the symbol for Cain....when Cain was banished to wander the earth he feared he would be killed like he killed his half brother Abel...So God marked him an X which is just a tilted cross!

there is scripture about people that tried that with the name of christ, though they had no faith in christ. The daemon replied "who is christ" and beat them all up. If you need a word or symbol to show faith, you are far from him.

I don't know. I do know that if you submit yourself to God, and resist the devil, he (satan) must flee. Because the bible says that.
