He is annoying you to get your attention. A little goes a long way. Try doing something with him at least once a week. It can be something like playing a video game or tossing a baseball or going to a movie or swimming. Tell him you love him and say hi and bye when you come and go. He will get the attention he needs and you might enjoy having a relationship with your little bro! Good luck!

I have answered this same question in the same way. But here goes---again but with more detail.
My younger brother got on everybody's nerves. Never quit asking questions, never shut up. I can't begin to describe how many times I would have gladly used the duct tape mentioned above. We did end up paying him to be quiet per mile of family vacations.
Today, he is the person I admire the most. He is brilliant and funny and beloved by everybody who knows him (who is not extremely jealous.) He is the first person I call on.
Pain in the *** younger brothers can grow up to be remarkable people.

I agree with nurturing your relationship with your brother. One day you willl both be older and doing your own things and all this will be history, but hopefully the two of you wil have a strong bond that will last throughout your lives. Brothers are as valuable as sisters. You need to be a role model for him. Don't be nasty back, he actually just wants some of your time and he actually is showing you that he loves and admires you by wanting to be around you. Are you worthy?
I have to say that some of the answers are pretty funny and inventive...made me chuckle.

I assume he's younger? He may be annoying you because he really WANTS you to like him. I know that sounds stupid, but he could be trying to get your attention in the wrong way, just so you will give him SOME attention.
Try putting yourself in his position. If you had an older sibling, what kind of relationship would you wish to have with them? Little brothers can be a giant pain...I know, but someday he may be your best friend!

Most likely he just wants attention. You can
A) Beat the crap out of him. This will probably get you in trouble, and only fuel his attention needing fire.
B) Ignore him completely. Its hard, and annoying siblings are persistent so your gonna have to have lots of will power.
C) Try countering your brothers annoying ness by doing something nice. It kind makes you the bigger and better person, and maybe...just maybe one day he'll get the message.

What are your ages...? Remember both of you have different levels of mentality and maturity..Yes we all deal with our annoying *** siblings...But we get over it and it is called brotherly love. I understand he bugs you a lot, but when you least expect, youll know he looks up to you as big sis. Lil brothers are meant to annoy, but it is a phase he will out grow when he gets a life. So just ignore it and let it go b/c he his your brother and both of you will reminisce one day about how annoying he was....At least I do with my Lil bro who is now 22 years old. Maybe its your brothers way of getting your attention, obviously you give it to him by showing he annoys you, and he just keeps doing it b/c he knows it will bother you.
Or the last resort is to kick his butt.....Nah just love your brother how he is and give him a taste o his medicine once in a while:)

bear it until her gets older at which point he will still be an annoying little brat but most likely you'll end up treating the banter as a joke and not something serious.

thats what brothers do. try treating him like he's funny and smart-he's annoying you to get attention and if you just freely give it to him and treat him as a friend he may stop trying to peeve you off. reacting to him by yelling an losing your cool-just eggs him on -then when it actually hurts him-he will keep bugging you, try new tactics-I do this all the time, people come to me,angry and looking for someone to blame-when you tell them they have every right to be angry and you just want to help-it diffuses the whole situation.

Ok, First of all you have to think of all the things about him that you do like about him. I know it can be hard trust me Im one girl out of 4 boys. try sitting down with him and explaining to him what annoys you most and set days to do things together that you both like. Just try to be his friend thats what he really wants from you. If you're older then him you have to remember he looks up to you and sees you as the cool older sister. Good Luck, and Remember to pray about it.

Try to make the best out of the situation. He wants your attention, give him some. Take him some place fun, show him you love him and actually enjoy being with him. That will make him nicer to you and you will have a good time too.
